Myth or Fact?

Heavily debated, wondering if anyone actually has some real knowledge -

When taking orals, like superdrol, some people think that if you take it an hour prior to a work out, your liver will release the anabolics into your blood and your workout will be much better.

Others say thats bullshit, the half-life of the compound is what's important. Try to take another pill once the half-life of the previous dosage is about to expire.

Which one is true?
 
I do not have tons of experience like these guys do with aas but, what I do know is that in nursing school we have learned that consistent dosing in regards to a drugs half life will keep a 'therapeutic' blood level more efficiently. So I would assume that you would want to have a consistent dosing schedule more than taking it an hour before you workout. Just my opinion.

This ^^ therapeutic levels will make for more consistent levels in the blood. But why not just time it to where you have to take the pill an hour prior so you will have a therapeutic and timed effect.

I use dianabol @40mgs a day taken an hour before workout and I feel that's when it's fully in my system I seem to feel the best effects from it.
I take the entire 40mgs(2 20mg caps) at once instead of splitting it to get my system saturated.
btw that's stacked with 500mgs of testosterone enanthate a week split into two injections a week for stable blood levels.
 
I only mean it would be beneficial to take it at the same times daily depending on half life time. Depending on peak drug levels would determine what time to take it before a workout and consistently take it at that time and hit the gym consistently at the same time
 
In other words to make myself clearer, if a drug peaks an hour after administration, and you hit the gym at five in the afternoon, I would take it at four everyday and hit the gym at five everyday for the most beneficial results
 
Aye, I've actually decided to go with the theory that compound "peaks" prior to a gym routine will not offer any additional effects and the best way to dose throughout a day is to go by the half life timing to keep balanced levels as much as people during an entire cycle. Thanks for the replies fellas.
 
Hell, if anything, I'd imagine the best time to benefit from "the peak" of the compound would be AFTER the gym, during the muscle repair - protein synthesis, glycogen re-storage etc. When we're in the gym our body is using whats in the muscle and what other fuel is available i.e. a pre work out meal with solid carbs in it (and a shitton of caffeine :D ).

Considering how anabolics work and considering the good old line where "we don't build muscle in the gym, we build it after", why would people think taking an entire days dose of an oral AAS prior to the gym provide additional benefits? I think it's all placebo, then again, placebo is a very powerful and real emotion, so maybe it is better to not question it and stack AAS + placebo for the ultimate stack ehehehe.
 
When I use beast/sdrol I space out my doses and take an extra 45-90 minutes before I workout and honestly I was a lot stronger than when I simply spaced it out. Even if it's just a placebo it works lol
 
Even if it is a placebo effect, the more energy and intensity you have in the gym, the more muscle you tear down. The more muscle you tear down the more your aas can benefit you by rebuilding more muscle.
 
yes it makes a difference.. you can take a stable amount throughout the day, then throw in a bit extra an hour before a major workout. my last cycle i took 40mg var an hour before i planned on maxing out on the bench and i PR'd easily. it does make a difference of course.

orals hit your body fast, its not a placebo at all

Yeah, I used to do orals by taking 1/3 morning and then 2/3 pre work out. I'm just thinking it's better to do 1/1/1 throughout the day. I just don't understand how taking an AAS before the gym would do anything for you. I always thought the AAS main purpose was to build you back stronger and faster after a work out so next time you're in the gym you're way more powerful. Just not seeing how the compound itself helps during the gym routine....Are you saying that our bodies are using the compound during a repetition to give you more strength? Doesn't make sense to me. That kind of effect is what I get from carbs + pre work out supps which have a completely different approach to the game than AAS. What am i missing here?

when i did beast i did 20mg right before gym and 20mg throught the day, :evil::evil:. 40mg a day is the only way to run beast in my opinon, will never run under that.
