any of ya'll ever tried this spray on tanning system?

how much $ ?

how long did it last?

did the tan gradually fade away, or peel off in chunks and strips?

how good was the coverage? (inside thighs, behind ears......)

big, golden bronze bump for this.

I tried it once. I was trying to get ready for a competition and it wasn't nearly dark enough. It was 25$ here I think and it was two session. I work my posing trunks and she painted me everywhere. It didn't look unnatural or bad, just not dark enough for my purposes.

My tanning salon had it and just got rid of it. I never tried but it seems that it didn't get to many repeat customers.

Its tricky to get an even coat

a local tanning place close to the house started advertising it last week.......feb is kinda early for the tanning season even here in the deep south; though i might try it.....but after reading ya'll less than glowing reviews i dunno about it now.

MYSTIC TAN MAKES MY SKIN DARKER! I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW IT WORKS, BUT I DON'T HAVE TO!

I tried it once.. wasn't overly impressed.

It was about $30, lasts maybe 3 days (even though they say 10), doesn't fade evenly and is hard to get even on the hands and feet.

dayna...seashell....I'd like to volunteer to sponge either of you down to ensure the Mystic Tan is evenly distributed should you decide to try it again. :p

I wasn't displeased with the coverage or appearance of it. They were running a special at the time so two appointments were $25. Apparently it has an enzyme that reacts with the skin that causes the tan look, but there is iodine in the solution so they can see it and hopefully get an even coat. That's how it was explained to me. There are tanning beds at the gym where I'm a trainer so, I guess that's gonna be what I do from now on.

:lmao:

I usually get a base tan first, the Mystic tan stays on longer and doesn't peel if you have a base first. I use the Mystic once every 2-3 weeks during the summer. Its a lifesaver when you don't have the time to go to the tanning salon very often.
