My view on the current WWF

Stone Cold - just making the most of his downtime with his injury by being goofy. The showdown with the Rock is inevitable, hence the reason Rock is hold WCW title. But until he is healed.... it is just goof off material. Though RVD match was awesome.

Rock - he returned, but so what? Doing nothing we haven't all seen before. Feud with Booker T was just to by pass time. After feud with Stone Cold, what next? Same old, same old.

Kurt Angle - Despite the skill, mic ability, he will be regulated to sub main event when Stone cold, Rock and Triple H come back full time. I predict most of his matches will be with mid card talent.

Undertaker - near the end of his career. Despite being a locker room leader, he was truly a bitch in his matches with DDP and did nothing to help DDP get over. The force loss of DDP to his wife shows this.

Kane - once dominated, now marred by injuries, the best big man in the sport will be on the same level as Kurt Angle.

Benoit/Jericho - see Kurt Angle

Edge/Christian - while being split up may make for some exiciting matches, it will give Edge a boost in singles, but do nothing for Christian. Edge will NOT be another Shawn Michaels. You have to wonder what this split will do for the tag team scene. Weaken it only.

Matt/Jeff hardy - same as Edge/Christian but without the feud among each other. They make tag team wrestling exciting, but what haven't we seen yet?

Dudley Boyz - the most dominate tag team in the ECW line up. But they been kind of quiet lately.

Big Show/Albert/Test/Xpac/Regal - ship is sinking fast, I don't think any of these can swim.

Acolytes - do they EVER wrestle? What is up with them, why are they not chasing gold?

Thing I think WWF is doing right:
The Superhero Gimmick they have Hurrican Helms is great.
Being unspecific in Triple H's role when he come back, good mystery for the Hardest Working Man in the Business.

Things they could improve:
Using ECW more dominantly. Forget WCW, ECW has more former world champions than WCW. ECW has some legitimate tough guys and bad asses.
Not utilizing hardcore Holly. the man has the physique, ring prescence, attitude and ability. Team him with someone like Tajiri and you have a great tag team. Why is he being held down.

What are your thoughts?

Ever since WCW went off air I haven't watched wrestling. I may start again if they hire Big Poppa Pump and the Outsiders.

Stone Cold - His best days are behind him.

Kurt Angle - He will remain at main-event status.

Albert - He'll get a better and bigger role in the near future.

Taker - He's still over with the crowd. His in-ring work has definately went downhill.

Kane - He'll remain the same he's always been. He can't wrestle, but his gimmick and size will keep him over.

Benoit - I think he'll get a huge push when he returns and gets rid of the ring rust.

E&C - They were both better off as a team. I see a short lived push for Edge.

The Dudley Boys - They're my favorite tag-team. They don't have a strong place with this Alliacne anlge still going.

APA - They're huge and their brawler gimmick has worked for years and they'll end their careers with it.

Lance Storm - Dumb move teaming him up with Helms. He'll be a top heel soon enough.

Helms - His superhero gimmick is kind of funny. He's voice is funnier.

Trip - He's my favorite wrestler and I can't wait to see him back. I'd like to see them sign steiner and have a long going feud with these 2.

RVD - Lot's of potential. He'll have to find a new angle or gimmick to get over at main-event status. They might hold him down like they did with Benoit and Y2J.

Y2J - WTF? He hasn't been involved in any good angles in a long time. I don't know what they plan on doing with him. Maybe things will pick up when Benoit returns.

Mike Awesome - He should get a huge push. I always liked watching him wrestle.

O'Hair & Palumbo - Nice addition to the tag-team division. I see them remaining together for awhile and O'Hair eventually making a single run.

Kronic - This really adds depth to the tag-team world. It's becoming the land of the giants. Can't wait to see what these 2 do.

DDP - Started out with a gay angle with Taker. It was horrible. Interested to see what he does next.

You make some good points, but I think Kurt Angle will/should stay at the top. I love the Acolytes, I wish someone would really get them over. Rob Van Damme is fuckin amazing to watch. However, in another post, someone said he's too high risk and could end his career early if he's not careful. I'd love to see Tajiri stick around. I've always been a fan of the really talented and acrobatic wrestlers like him, RVD, and Esse Rios.

GOOD NEWS!!! the Big Bad Booty Daddy will be back in the public eye very soon!!!!!
I got this from HIS mouth... not some stupid mag. or website either!

Stone Cold - preparing for an acting career. I swear to God, he is the funniest performer ever! What?!? I'm getting tired of people getting in the ring and just talking on the mic, but if it's Stone Cold, I sit back and enjoy. When he said “I can’t believe the mentality of the Canadian race” on RAW I nearly lost it. His career is probably almost done which is too bad. It also took a lot of balls for him to agree to lose that match to RVD.

Angle - Liked him as a bad guy. Unfortunately for him, he's got to compete with Stone Cold, Rock and HHH, and he can't win that personality contest, so I'm agreeing with Assplorer. Don't know how I feel with him using the trademark "Whooooo" that belongs to the one and only Ric Flair.

Big Show - What the hell happened to him? He used to be funny as hell for a while there.

Dudleys - Loved them when they were super-heels. Seeing Buh-Buh Ray putting some poor woman through a table was great.

Y2J - better as a heel. Totally agree with Assplorer that he's a middle card player.

RVD - Fucking awesome. I could see him joining the WWF. He needs to get a better belt than the Hardcore title. That belt blows.

Shane McMahon - he is a total buffoon who will do anything to be on camera. He is an idiot.

Stephanie McMahon - are her breasts awesome or what? Thank God for silicone and saline.

Big Poppa Pump - they need him back. One of the best heels ever.

The Rock - Great as always. Loved the interview with Lilian on Raw.

Benoit - might not come back from the back/neck injury.

HHH - always the man, he may come back as a good guy. He's better as a heel.

Tajari - excellent performer with some funny facial expressions. It's great how Regal and Tajari carry on conversations, reminds me of Han Solo talking to Chewbaka.

Undertaker - can barely move, and his wife has total butter face.

Hurricane Helms - funny as hell.

Where are all the jobbers (Mean Street posse, etc)?

Wrestling is great, but the ratings will dip once the NFL starts. But that's what Tivo is for.

I was at Smackdown yesterday. . . nothing really big happened

but it was funny nonetheless. . . The Rock actually has some new material. . .LOL. . . check that shit out tomorrow

Strudel

Shhhhh

What

Shhh

Lilian

bah hahahaha

Truly, the only "entertainment" is the comedy i.e. the insults...

For that...

The Rock: "It dosen't matter....." (especially his "comeback" performance with
Booker T)
Jericho/Y2J: Pick one... ANY one, this guy is tooooo f#cking funny, perhaps the
funniest MF of all time !!
Edge and Christian: The whole package.

Stone Cold?? OLD OLD OLD and terrible acting with his real-life wife, Deborah,
but that cookie sh#t was funny as hell.

That's about all the "talent" that's left. Too bad, so sad...

check out today's article in USAToday about the McMahon's dwindling fortunes...

I liked stone cold better as a bad ass!....As for RVD he has such a bright future in the wwf...That man has so much damn talent.I just hope he dont get hurt with all his high risks moves....

All the damn good wrestlers are getting hurt!

Bump for AAP. What do you think of your predictions over 2 years ago?

Whatever happened to Edge? He was cool.

WWF has been sucking for years, and even more so since it became the WWE. They lost a law suit to an organization that has a frigging Panda as it's logo. I always new it was fixed, but damn can they try any harder to kill what little realism it had left.

It comes on Saturday afternoons over on the only channel I get, appropriately nick-named the Forced Entertainment Network. Needless to say the level of boredom at the time determines whether or not I watch it.

I guess I was pretty correct huh?

APA still doesn't wrestle.

Where is Edge?

Angle still sub-main event.

Kane / UT still same spot. (At least UT is over that stupid biker image. That sucked ass)

Stone Cold - still out.

Jericho - still in the mid cards

Beniot - still haven't been pushed the way he should

RVD - gone downhill even more

Eddie G - still the best working man in the business, however just in the spotlight now.. they will never push him really good.

HHH - a sack of off cycle shit.

Tajiri - still under rated (they really need to bring in Vampiro and give them the belts)

Overall, the WWE is much much sorrier than ever before. We have seen the fuck the corpse skit, the kiss my ass club, the promise of hot lesbian sex and the entire McMahon Family Episode soap opera each week.

WWE sucks.

OK... I DONT FUCKING GET IT.

You guys know its fake... but you are talking about their injuries and stuff as if it really affects the fight... which is completely predetermined.

All joking aside... are you just kind of enjoying the role playing aspect (kinda like a soap opera for guys I guess)?

or is there something more to it???

Ive always thought wrestling was something for ten year old boys to enjoy but I see a lot of adults that are seemingly normal who "get into it".

What exactly am I missing here??

I dont mean this as a flame in ANY way... I just really want to knopw whats going through you alls heads when you watching this stuff.

Bubba the love sponge was talking to Edge one day. Edge said he was supposed to return for the Royal Rumble but that never happened. Not sure when he's coming back now.

I wish they would push Cena even more. The man knows how to work the crowd and is one of the most popular guys.

Eddie is awesome and I hope he wins the belt Sunday even if it's only for a little while before Brock takes it back and fights Goldberg at Wrestlemania.

What the hell is up with this mexican fued? Bring in Chavo's dad and then this old boxer that supposed to be Mysterio's friend?

Also why did they build up the Hardcore Holly vs brock lesner fued so much then just drop it like a ton of bricks?

All the action seems to be in Smackdown right now. Raw is just boring and ruined b/c of HHH ALWAYS retaining the belt and Evolution constantly dominating. Raw needs some serious work. I don't wanna see some love story evolve. I want backstage beatdowns and shit

I agree partially, but RAW in my opinion is "the Big Leagues" as opposed to Smackdown. If they moved Angle, Cena, and Guerrero to RAW I would probably never watch Smackdown. They really need to get their product back to what it was, especially when the "Monday Night Wars" were going on between Nitro and Raw.
