my TV out isn't working

I am running windows XP professional, and have a GeForce 2 Titanium graphics card

i go into start-settings-control panel-display-settings-advanced-device selection.

For some reason, the option for TvOut doesn't show up (it is greyed out, only the analog monitor option is accessable). TvOut has worked before. What is wrong with it, and how do i get it back.

i think it may be the drivers, i used help, and it took me to the device manager. Under display adaptors, there is only one listed, the NVIDIA GeForce 2 Ti.

If that is the problem, how do i add another driver.

I tried the help thing, but when i went into 'add hardware wizard' my graphics card wasn't listed among the models.

isn't there an option button that says, "Have disk" I guess you'd have to have the disk for that though. If you don't have the disk, you could probably go to the companys website and download the driver.

Go to the Nvidia website and download the driver there.

LOL@ Nvidia.

They had updated drivers, 40.?? and they sucked ass. I lost 2000 points on my 3d mark. Well, I guess they realised they were shit and rolled them back to 30.82.

I was going to say DON'T download they 40.?? drivers but Nvidia beat me to it.

What laptop do you have?? I had a Dell 4100 I beleive, and I think I had to have the S-video cable pluged in at both ends in order for the monitor "tab" to be active.

Its been a while, so I really cant remember.
