My situation

Here are my stats and my story:

Im 19 yrs old. I have been working out for 3 years with the last yr being my most serious. Im not a big kid at all. Before i started working out i was 155lbs. Now im hovering between 165 and 170. I cant seem to break this barrier. My body fat is around 18% ( i say this because i cant see my abs and when i sit i have a small "belly"; im pretty much fatless and veiny everywhere but my abdomen and sides.) I want to be 185lbs. I believe where im at now is not my maximum potential, but i cant seem to break the barrier. Now here comes the interesting stuff that i need your help with. I wanna run a cycle that will get my the 15lbs, but i want them keepable. I don't want to have to run another cycle for a long time, if not ever. I was thinking anavar 50mg for 50days, but then i thought maybe a low dose of test e (200mg) plus the var at 40mg (not sure how it would be scheduled). My main problem with test is the hair loss, im already predispositioned to it and i fear the worst.

So basically, i want something that will get me up to a LEAN 185ish and allow me to keep the gains with regular workouts, supps, and dieting (no repeat cycles)

19 is too young

it is more wise to consider when your endogenous Test level begin level out in the mid 20's range as seen in Statitics

in the mean time train, train, train, and eat right
 
First off you are to young for steroids try increasing your calories and protein and switching up your workout routine. Also supplements can help you acheive your goal....no2, creatine and things like that. Your diet and supplements is all you need to get in check right now. Also anavar will only help you increase your strength not your weight. The vets around here can tell you more but i don't think they will disagree with me much on this topic.
 
Omega is right. You should wait at least 2 more years.

In the mean time, protein supplements - you should try and take around 185 grams of protein a day. That could be part of it.

Diet, make it clean. Only good carbs - nothing white - potatoes, bread, sugar, etc.
Only good clean meats.

Nothing wrong with creatine at your age and amino acids.

Work out hard, get a good training partner, one that pushes you hard.

You could get your goal within a year.
 
thats what i hear, but will a low test cycle really have that bad of an effect on me?

also, about the anavar, some of my friends took low doses of 30mg ed for 7 weeks and gained between 7-10 lbs and got really cut up. I was thinking a dose of 50mg for 7 weeks would possibly give me all the weight and cut me up as much as i want without the adverse effects of test


honeslty im looking for a boost in the gym to give me the motivation as well as the extra nudge towards the weight and look i wanna obtain.
 
Yeah, sorry bud. 19 is too young. Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but the more you hear "you're too young" it should sink in.

I agree with all the advice that you've gotten.

everyone is basically hitting the nail on the head...i'm not sure what your routine looks like, but i would abandon any isolation work and focus exclusively on power/compound exercises
 
my routine is generally
mon- chest/tri
teus-back/bi
wednesday- legs/shoulders
thursday- chest/tri
fri- back/bi
sat- leg/shoulder
sun-day off

pretty standard. i work abs whenever they feel recovered from the previous workout (usually 2-3x a week)
 
Stick to that routine, eat alot and you'll do fine without gear. I wanted to juice in HS and didn't. I'm starting my first cycle Monday and I'm 34...

Listen to the bros here, you have plenty of time to run gear...
 
i kept growing till i was 23. i was 6 0 at 20 and by 23 i was almost 6 3, so do not mess with that. furthermore 185 is not a weight that you require juice at. you have high test levels at your age anyways, you can change your diet and easily go to where you want. there is no magic pill or needle to get rid of your fat bro. 18% at 185 is not a lot of lean muscle so you can't have much of a base. you need to change diet and workout, juice will do you no good
 
I would just go with the anavar, considering your age....I have done anavar 8 week cycle and its pretty sweet....I prob gained about 10 lbs but lost 5 after its was all said and done.....but its sweet ...no sides nothing to worry about......
