there are a number of reasons that your meds might not be effective
firstly, if you have been using nasal decongestants for a long time (ie 2 weeks) non stop, you will be tolerant to them, and you will actually have rebound congestion when you go off them.
then, you might be using one that is not effective for you, or is too lowly dosed, and should try another
then, you should consider a drug combination - antihistamines slow mucous production, and so using them at the same time as another anticongestant ie psuedoephedrine, which acts on blood vessels and not mucous, might yield a better outcome.
then you could try decongesting them using non drug measures such as a steam inhalation - the best way to do it is to have a hot shower, and breathe all that steam in, letting it mix with your mucous and clear it all out, massaging your sinuses (rub from your cheekbones towards your nose, and force the mucous to drain into your nose...yes i know thats a freaking disgusting thought)
apart from that, youre screwed, just get some moistened tissues so that you dont tear your nose up
go chat to your pharmacist or something, they can drug you up pretty well if they want to

personally i dont screw around when it comes to things like this, i jsut throw handfuls of drugs at people and completely bomb them into happiness

while telling them NEVER to try this at home, or they could die, have a heart attack, or wake up with a penis 3 inches long (yes some drugs do this...and alien amp pharm, it only reaches 3 inches if it started out bigger than that...drugs WONT make your dick grown, end of story. sorry bor.)
errr thats it

have fun
