im gonna delete this thread after a few responses...
i got my interview coming up and wondering if these responses to some possible questions are adequate?
Why do you want to join the Army?
Is because of the type of job it is.. to me it is a really honourable job to have because it is so important to everyone in Australia and its something you can really got a lot of respect out of, not just from other people but for yourself. I've never been interesting in a civilian job, except maybe Police, because both are psyical exciting jobs which is what i want.
but Army life is something i know id love doing because of the so many different aspects within, new challenges, new skills, meeting new people, not just mates but close good mates. It has so many goodpoints, its something i am willing to do and willing to succeed and to formill my dream in.
What have you got to offer the Army?
this is something i really want to do so i know ill be able to do my job well. i would not hestite in being asked to go to war or having to stay somewhere for a long period of time. so basically i would do what im told and do it as well as i can. And with the armys training and guideance i would uphold my priority which is to fulfill my duties the best i can and under any situation. Also i will never give up, id contribute to anything, help others, and work in a team.
I mean i feel i definately have the determination to do the job well.. like as an example ive been going to the gym for over 2 years now and thats a sign of my comitment and determination to stick to something that improves me. And thats the same with the army, im extremely determined and it's something id be fully comitted to.
What is it the Army can give me?
i think most importantly its a secure job which offers good money, theres great benefits and good promotion possibilies. and with that its an exciting and physical job which id really enjoy doing. and not talking job wise its a great way to meet new people, get to travel a lot and really get todo things you wouldnt in civilian life, umm you get to gain new experience and new skills and its a great wat to live life on an edge
