I have the last 100 or so pages left on the new Harry Potter book and as soon as I'm done with it, I'm going to start Terry Goodkind's new book Naked Empire (sword of truth series). I start school in a few weeks though so who knows how much play time I'll have to read for pleasure. ;)

Are those books for pleasure or for a course?

Required I assume! In the Age of PC wars you would think you would have to read other titles! But for when shit hits the fan at least you will be prepared as those in power head for their Nuclear Blast Proof Bunkers while the rest of us clean up their fucking mess by being Barbaric Savages and we kill the enemy (including woman and children) causing massive Collateral damage which in truth is a real war and no one wants to fight a real war but we have this PC bullshit to thank for the new Fun Of War!

Bro imagine if all soldiers did deadlifts and juiced. They would be unstoppable at close combat in medieval times.... the damn gun powder weapons would nullify it though. Fuck technology. We need to go back to basics, where women were forced to have sex, the strongest got all the food, and where you could juice ur head off and bash people on the head till they would bleed and take their women and their food.

Oh...we do read lots of other books... the first 4 weeks were:

Allison - Essence of Decision: Explaining the Cuban Missile Crisis
Ikenberry - After Victory: Institutions, Strategic Restraint, and the Rebuilding of Organizations after Major Wars
Jervis - Perception and Misperception in Internatinal Politics (this book really sucks)
Kingdon - Agendas, Alternativs and Public Policies
Khong - Analogies at War; Korea, Munich, Dien Bin Phu, and the Vietnam Decisions of 1965
Machiavelli - Selected Political Writings; The Prince, Selections from the Discourse, and a Letter to Vittorio
Neustadt - Thinking in Time: The Uses of History for Decision-makers
Nye - Understanding International Conflicts: An Introduction to Theory and History
Olson - The Logic of Collective Action
Record - Making War, Thinking History: Munich, Vietnam and Presidential Uses of Force from Korea to Kosovo
Riker - Ther Art of Political Manipulation

Plus 3 different books that were compendiums of various Pol Sci stuff - some good, some down right sucked.

This year long course is rather unique for the military.

Looks like some good reading, you ought to be able to debate with 2Thick and others after reading all that.

His wisdom cuts a wide swatch across many things - not just across war.

A photography teacher gave me the book to read.
You can read it over and over and get something new each time as it relates to your current life.

velvett its also available freely online. Incredible book both on psychological and physical aspects of defeating an enemy. Incredible how educated he was. I believe he was an advisor to a chinese emperor?

You should try reading Clausewitz... That is painful reading. Very useful, but painful to read. (at least for moi)
