My protein blend

Hey i'm looking to buy 5lbs of a protein blend from www.proteinfactory.com or proteincustomizer.com BUT i was wondering if anyone in Canada has ordered from these places before and how much custom charges btw i'm in toronto.
This is my planned blend any opinions is appeciated, should i up my CFM whey i'm planning to chug this at 10am as second meal w/ flax oil:
40% Milk Isolate
30% Calcium Caseinate
5% L-Glutamine
15% CFM Whey
10% Micellar Casein

or should i go with

43% Egg Protein
20 Calcium Caseinate
30% milk isolate
7% Glutamine

the first one costs $7.50 more than the second one

Egg protein isn't the best. Any whey variation would probably be better.

I think in order of quality its CFM, Ion Isolate, then concentrate, then casein.

If you made a mix in that order plus the glatamine if you want that would work pretty good I imagine.

would it be beneficial to take whey in beside post workout and first meal in morning cause i'm taking it second meal and in first meal i take in 22g of whey?

I prefer solid food in the morning because it digests slower and lasts me throughout the morning so whey as your second meal is a good choice IMO. I usually only do whey in the morning when I run out of protein in the house :)

Although, today I made a nice filling shake (whey + milk + banana + flax + cooked oatmeal) Was pretty tasty. I helped my neighbor move 3 UHauls worth of furniture after that so I guess it worked. That and the dunkin donuts and mcdonalds ;)

Why not glutamine peptides? And for the whey ranking I think a good ultrafitered whey concentrate is probably an all around better protein than ion exchange whey isolate. Whats wrong with egg protein? Its supposed to be a good form of protein. A mix of whey, milk protein isolate, and egg seems like a good mix. I would definitely choose mpi over any of the caseinates except micellar as the former are denatured during the acid washes. The casein in mpi should be undenatured and for all intensive purposes the same thing as micellar casein. Micellar casein is the casein separated from mpi. So you could add some micellar to mpi to boost the casein content at night. How about a majority of the protein mpi then micellar, some egg and then whey for a late night protein and again glutamine peptides. Use a good whey concentrate with the mix at night as everyone says it digest a little slower than isolates. I dont see anything wrong with whey through out the day if you are using it a few hours before and after a meal. The studies most people quote on whey digestion rates are on fasted individuals overnight not someone who just had a grilled chicken salad 2 hours before. Hope some of this helps.

Buying from american sites while living in Canada

I was wondering the same thing. I wanted to buy some protein from proteinfactory.com but it seems a bit iffy. Last time I ordered a product from an American site, it was a disaster. I didn't get my product for months.... I'm not sure if this always happens but if you're up for the risk go ahead. On the other hand I could order from a Canadian site such as SNDCANADA.com, but I kinda figured whats the point? I can go to my local GNC and get the same products for cheaper and I don't have to wait for them. You are probably better off just going to the store to buy you're protein. At the GNC I was at, they had
10 Lbs of Iso-Protein (I think something like a 36 gram serving containing 33 grams of protein) for $92 where-as a lower quality protein, like a 5 pound tub; probably sets you back about $60 off a Canadian website and like I said, the quality isn't nearly as good. To get a 5 pound product with the same quality costs about $70-80 just for a 5 pound tub.... you probably could have done this research yourself but I figured I'd be nice enough to save you the time.
