My problem with some people...

Have you ever noticed that some people just complain and complain everyday about their friends, family and surroundings. Day-in and day-out we have to hear them complain and whine, nod our heads or walk away. At home, at work, at the local store - when was the last time you saw a cheerful supermarket cashier?

Whine whine whine everyday.


Yet these people continue to show up, and continue to remain with the people that they hate and remain in the surroundings that make them unhappy.


Is there not a faint resemblance to that and the definition of insanity?

Actually if you are going to complain about something - even something about yourself - do something to change it and if it's something you can't change either learn to live with it and take the element out of your life.

I hate going to the doctor. Every receptionist/nurse/aide that works in the doctor's office acts like they have a stick up their ass. I realize it's a stressful joh, but damn, if you hate people and can't hack it, don't go into healthcare. Argh.

Not to mention the fact that it is ridiculous to expect to get promoted from your crappy, low-paying job if you walk around like a whiny little sour ball of nerves.

I think common courtesy is becoming obsolete, especially among teenagers. I can't tell you the last time I've heard anyone under 20(hell, 30) say "Good morning," "Pardon me," or "Thank you".

If everyone took ten seconds out of their day to smile at someone else and say something nice just for the hell of it, the world would be a better place.

I will now step off of my soapbox and resume drinking my coffee.

i always use please, thank you and pardon me, etc... i grew up being told to do that - and i'm under 30
