My PCT (clomid) experience

About a year ago I started PCT with clomid at 300mg day 1, 150mg day 2, & 50mg for the remaining two weeks. The 300mg messed me up so bad, that it was horrendous--I felt unstable as hell. I could barely continue & actually quit after a week.

I just started PCT on monday(after a test based cycle). I went with 150mg first day, 100mg second day, now at 50 mg.. I did not experience anything negative close to the previous PCT. I can already tell that clomid is working--the jules are working on regaining full potential.

I'm hoping my current PCT is sufficient?

Any input is appreciated.

Should be fine. Your first cycle was pretty high doses of clomid. This one now is more like it. Ever tried Nolva?

Never for PCT---do you feel it works for PCT alone or in conjunction with clomid?

My PCT is detailed on my original post.. From the research I've done, most choose clomid over Nolva for PCT.

I use them both and both are very effective. Colmid helps you get normal test levels back while nolva helps keep estrogen levels down. Clomid also helps keep estrogen down too.

I think clomid has it's place, but I don't like it cause it makes me nauseous. HCG and nolva have worked awesome for me so far. HCG will boost your test production faster than anything.

Clomid breaks me out like crazy. I always thought it was just the imbalance in hormone levels during PCT (which is a major factor) but now Im thinking clomid also plays a major part. I started PCT w/ 100mg/day clomid + 40mg/day Nolva and after about 1 week I had the strangest acne on my mid-back/lats. It was very small zits and it almost looked like a rash there were so many. I never get zits there - its always just shoulders (shoulder blades) & upper back on either side of my spine. Within 3-4 days of stopping the clomid I have noticed a drastic improvement. The acne is clearing up and I havent noticed any new ones. I have continued with 40-60mg of Nolvadex and I plan to stick with HCG/Nolva from now on. Luckily I never get them on my face and I only really break out during PCT... Swale and some other reputable people have mentioned that HCG/Nolva is just fine if clomid sides are a problem.

Anyone else attribute their PCT acne to clomid itself? I know fluctuating hormone levels is the main problem but it seems any time I take clomid i get horrible acne unlike what I would normally experience.

Thats odd, most everything I am reading now a days seems to show the vast majority of guys are choosing nolva/hcg for PCT over clomid because of the sides, anxiety, vision problems, and now add acne to that list. Where are you looking at PCT info?

3-4 years back everyone would have been on clomid - nolvadex is certainly more popular on this board - by leaps and bounds

Just I'd like to know since what time you BB are caring about anixety / depression nausea. We are in a " No Mercy " game taking care of what is healthier and benificial for your muscles/body instead of saying:I like this, I hate that ....FULL PACKAGE PCT IS A MUST for your own health ......"Accepting any criticism is my moto"
