Well I'm here, along with about 4/36 people in my branch.

I was not going to waste a day of leave, but I bet everyone will end up getting the day off.

I'd say about 6 inches. I'm not good at estimating though.

The authorities did not do a very good job of clearing the roads. In DC it's obvious no plow has been by the major arteries near my work. In Rockville there is still snowpack all over the roads.

Got 6 inches of snow out here west of Tysons Corner...decided for a second "hmm should i take my civic and chance it? Naw, lets try out the Land Cruiser".

Only SUVs /AWDs on the road that early this morning and even made it in good time. Less cars on the road. But snowpacked the whole way...Went out for lunch and roads are slush/snow packed and saw a 350Z stuck pretty bad. No one stopped for his ass either. I would've but dont have any tow straps yet. Getting some at Walmart after work.

Should get worse tonite/tomorrow with freezing rain/ice
