Just get the TRD springs. So when you decide to sell it, it will add to the value since they are dealer installed and made by toyota.

RS 1.0 that is.

RS 2.0 (for 06) comes in this cool blue color.

yea , you know what i meant lol
i am goin to pick up the TRD springs

Nice choice. Adding a TRD rear swaybar would reduce body roll to give the car a nice feel with the springs.

scions are sweet... dont they make one with a super charger even too?

Doesnt come as an option but you can it costs 3K and the dealer installs it. you keep your warranty as well.

Supercharger+ smaller pulley + better bypass valve= A tC that hauls ass.

if you set a new scion tc and a new lexus IS350 next to each other, the front look very similar.

for 18k the scion is a better buy then civic EX (looks better for sure)

Yeah the tC looks a lot like the is.

the tc looks better then then the ex and has more power, but the ex is solid.

Better interior, better tranny(not that kind perk :rainbow: ).

In the end, tc is still slightly better.

grownmanlifter knows his FI. Those are the mods we used on the JR blower installed on my RSX. Raised it from 5 to 11% boost.

and make sure you get coils with a stiffer spring rate too, homie. Otherwise youi'll actually increase bodyroll.

BTW, tC's are very clean looking. Good choice of ride. I started a thread about the tC a few years ago when I was considering one.

cool.

What are you doing for tires? Hankooks have great dry handling and a good price. Some Kumho models fucking rock, and have stupidly good prices. Order from tirerack.com and have them shipped to a local install. Saves major bank.

great looking tires, homie. Expensive as a fucker though. Guess you dont have to hunt for discount tires, huh?
they came on the car from the factory with the 18's , when i replace them ill def go with cheaper tires.

omg lololollololol @ "scrub those rims"

Nice banger Hotzie, I'm looking at a new ride and am considering one of those.

I love the look and performance for that price.

18's? Sweet. Then definitely check out tirerack.com. Even with the shipping costs, I saved like $150 over buying inferior tires at a local retail place.

All Hankooks rock, and the Kumho Ultra High Performance model rocks. Both tight looks tires.

Yeah I bet that little ride does handle good. Just not enough power for me. I had to with something with at least 200hp. If I found a low mileage used one with that factory blower, I'd be all over that.

Still FWD which takes away part of the fun.....

yea , tirerack's prices are sick

tirerack rocks
I have 108000 miles on me supra
on my 11th set of rear tires

true, but we are talking about a 20K car man.

You could get a used RX8 still under warranty for 20k. BTW I'm not bashing the Tc, it's a nice little car for the price with Toyota quality finish. I would just keep it stock.

used vs new, whole nother ball game.

I understand that you arern't knocking the tc, but you seem to subscribe to the "Dont mod a FWD" car conecpt.

But just for fun, a blown tC with a pulley is actually faster then an Rx8, gets better gas mileage, cheaper to maintain, and a lot more reliable then a rotary engine.

Sure the Rx-8 can handle better, but who cares about that. ;)

Sure its faster. The RX-8 brings a massive 155 ft lbs of torque. Oooh the neck strain. Without 8k rpm clutch drops, its comes off the line like a grannymobile. They do handle sweetly though even in totally stock form.
