As we all know the American society is much more loose than other countries. With the divorce rate in America being over 50% and it failure increase with factors like: parents being divorced, money, and high stress jobs.
With all that I ask why do we get Married?
Most will say because I'm in-love and want to spend the rest of my life with that person. I ask if both are true in their feelings to each other why do they need to get Married? Only those who need to prove their love would go through the process of Marriage.
Some will say its not right to live together without being married. I say if both are true to each other then a piece of paper shouldn't matter.
Some will say that its religion that says marriage is normal. I say that's true in most religions. But both people need to be 100% pure in their religion to make the marriage work. And I'm sure that NO religion OK's divorce, yet over half of all marriages fail. So how is it that one can justify getting married due to religion then in a few years justify to themselves that a divorce is OK???
Now if one wants to get Married does one have to get both legally married and married by a Preacher? No some only get married by the courts. Some do both and some only get married in the eyes of their religion.
Why so many ways to get married?
I say Marriage is a Holy event and should only be done when both believe in the religion. So their is no need to legally married.
The American culture has O.K.'d people to change who their married to just like buying a new car every few years.
And what happens during the divorce? The one who has worked and paid for most everything gets screwed and the lazy fat ass who sat on the couch most of the time gets the couch and everything in the house to include half of the value of the house.
I'll damn sure not get legally married again. Never make the same mistake twice

Very true. I'll keep that in mind when looking for dates.
