:begin rant:
gf wandered over there yesterday or the day before and the neighbor and her husband were chatting. the husband was telling his wife he wants to get a gun. for some reason, my gf mentioned that i've got an AK-47 on the way.
the wife didn't make a stink about it.
today my gf gets a call from our landlord (the girl next door, her parents are our landlords). landlord said that her daughter called up screaming and complaining that we have guns in the house and she feels unsafe and that guns can shoot through walls and oh my god what if it goes off and me or my kids get shot and what would i do and they're not keeping guns in the house or i'm moving out i refuse to live next to them if they have guns in the house that's so unsafe mom you have to do something becuase i refuse to live next door to them if they have guns in the house and blah blah blah blah blah.......
landlord says, "i don't give a shit if you have guns in the house or not. you're both responsible adults. who cares?!"
little does the neighbor know that i already have 3 guns, 2 that i keep ammo for and are ready to fire at this very second if i so desire, and we've been here for almost 6 months with those 3 guns in the house.
i'm quite a little bit pissed off that she won't say anything to US about it, but instead runs off and tells her mother (who said, "fine, move out if you don't like it!").
secondly, i'm a little ticked that she somehow thinks that i'm irresponsible enough to leave loaded guns laying around the house for anyone to pick up and shoot. however, she's probably the ignorant type that thinks a gun can load itself, levitate up off the table, aim, and shoot someone without any human interaction at all.
my gf told her today that i don't keep any guns in the house, i keep them at a friends. WHAT THE FUCK?! she said she did it to "keep the peace." well, the neighbor can flip out all the fuck she wants when she sees me carrying in a gun case later on next week. i'll probably park the car out back to do that because i really don't need the whole neighborhood seeing that, but the neighbor can see out into the back yard clear as day.
fucking dumb people, i swear. i hope she brings it up with me so i can inform her that in the 3 1/2 years i've had guns in the house there has not been one single negligent discharge nor will there ever be because i'm not a fucking retard.
i should go over there and pistol whip her.
wonder what she's gonna do when she sees me signing for the 2600 rounds of ammo that should be here next week
