Is rapidly turning into a giant steaming pile of dogshit.

Looks like I am going to be stuck down in texas for christmas.

There is a whole lot of shit going on at work that is going to fuck shit up pretty bad for a while.

I am overworked to the point of severe exhaustion.


If I don't get to go home for christmas I am going to quit my job, even though I don't have anything lined up right now, I have had it with my fucking company not letting me have any time off to do the things I need to do. I had to miss my granfather's funeral because I was working. I missed evey family function this year except thanksgiving (which I got one day off for and had to leave at 5am the day after), I missed going to sturgis where I had a free room to stay in. I am rapidly watching life pass me by while I am working in every shitty little hellhole they can send me too.

I am ready to say fuck it and disappear from society.

Anyways I am not looking for sympathy here so don't start with all the "I feel bad for you bullshit" I am simply stating that facts. Y'all may not hear from me for a while, so I hope things are ok with those of you that I like, and the rest can rot.

i see the same thing around here all the time with lots of guys who work the oil rigs/mines/army (to a lesser degree). they work their youth away then finally flip out because they live a disjointed, shitty life thats almost impossible to have a family in, have a crisis, and theyre off...so for what its worth, i think youre doing the right thing

Sounds like Scots' company is understaffed, maybe he should confront them with that. I suspect that he's valuable enough to them that the threat of quitting will be enough to get the ball rolling.
