My legs are too big

They are out of proportion to the rest of me. Should I take a break of working them, or do a light workout?

this is just a generalization, but a few guys ive known and trained with said the exact same thing as an excuse not to work legs, and their legs really werent big at all. You might just have naturally built legs while you had to work hard to build your upper body, so your brain just sort of sees your legs as too big and you upper body as not big enough

if you can, post some pics of your wheels and we'll be the judge

Bang on man!

I'd say maybe if the legs really are too big then you should do the same workout and never increase reps or poundage, whilst bringing your upper body up.

What are you trying to do? Do you want to compete or just get stronger? If its the later, then do you care if you look like a chicken?

Working the legs with a lower intensity level could be your best bet. Or, you could introduce more lower-body cardio exercise (running/biking/etc). I got quick definition in my lower body with this approach.....which made me look more "proportional."

Good luck!

why not capitalise on your strength in an area and build them up as much as possible? my legs are naturally big but instead of using that as an excuse to slack on leg day I take advantage of it to get my squat up.. and a bigger squat usually potentiates a bigger upper body.
