Might have something to do with the fact that I shattered the radial head in late January, requiring 3 screws and a pin in there.....
Anyways there isn't much cartilage in your elbow bro. The glucosamine won't hurt but it ain't gonna do jack shit. It's beneficial to knees because there is lots of cartilage in there and it is a load bearing joint.
The pain you are experiencing is 99% likely to be of tendinous origin. That's right it's called tendonitis. The only cure for tendonitis is to rest the joint. Ice packs alternated with heat, massage, ultrasound, etc. can hasten recovery but there is no cure besides time.
Don't be a macho dicckhead dude. I tried to come back too early from my injury and do bench, tricep pulldowns, etc. Stupid. You have the rest of your life to train arms. 6-8 weeks is nothing. Think of the big picture.
