My latest irritation.....

Raina

I live at the end of a dead end street. There are 6 empty city lots next/across from my house. It's nice because it's so quiet. Up on the street on the other side is a business. They own all the lots (they were going to expand the business but our block had it rezoned single family residential).

Well the owner of the business told his friend that he could put his crappy camping trailer over there on Friday. He's a freaky "level 3 sex offender" looking guy with a huge dog. It's just weird to have some weird guy living across the street in the woods.

But he's been having company. Day and night there are cars parked in front of my house wandering back into the woods. That seems weird. He had some kind of party over there last night with a bunch of what looked like homeless people on bikes. How more than 2 people can even fit in that camper is beyond me. Especially with the dog.

I just let the dog out and one of the skanky hookers that half lives at the bar by my house was leaving there. Grand. Last night the guy was just wandering around over there with a shovel and a flashlight. Am I just being overly irritable or would this not sit right with other people?

Maybe it was a costume party. :Chef: :tuc:

I'm going to call the owner of the business tomorrow. I don't think this is reasonable. I just don't see how that can be legal. It doesn't sound right. I'm anti freaky people wandering around across the street with shovels too.

yeah do that , but watch out.. like say that u want to be nameless. cause i would not like them creepy sex offender type people know that you have made the call.

I'd unleash an unholy war. ALL of mine and my friends fecal matter would end up in their yard at night.

OR, just call the cops from a pay phone now and then and report drug usage over there to see if anything comes of it.

Whiskey

you are excited in your anticipation of getting rapped by one of these wierdos some day. way to add some excitement in your life.

i say get your own shovel and go dig up what he buried

its either:

1) money (cooool)
2) drugs (cooooooool)
3) loot (cooooooooooooool)
4) a body (ultra coooool!!!)
5) a turd (the trailer doesnt have a toilet)

hm.

tough.

It's his property. Unless he is breaking a noise ordinance or some other type of ordinance, I don't think you can do anything about it. That's one of the many things I can't stand about living in cities. Even though you pay for the property, it still isn't totally yours. You have all these fucking rules telling you what you can do on your property. If the guy lets some hobo live in a piece of shit camper on his property, so be it. I don't care what my neighbors think about my house or how many people I may have over. I already have a lein on my house for not paying the bullshit homeowners association fee so I couldn't care less what the rest of these fucks around me think

Sounds like a rolling meth lab. Call the cops, report it as such. See if anything comes of it.

That is actually a very good idea. Either that or stand in front of their "house" at 6AM with a towel around your head and yell..."JIHAD!!! EYEYEYEYEYEYEYEY!!!!!!!!" then spit on the ground and walk back to your nieghbors house and around back so they think you live there.

As this morning progresses, the number of people stopping over there and the length of duration of their stays is really looking like something drug related.

If he can make meth AND have a big dog AND company in that little thing I'll be impressed!

If you're in the city limits, it is very unlikely that living in a trailer on a lot in a residential neighborhood is legal. A friend of mine had to get special permission to live an an Airstream in his back yard while his house was being repaired after a fire.

That, and the obviously drug-related behavior, screams "call the cops".

I always pictured you living in an expensive house in a suburb somewhere with a gated community. Better start swinging your moneymaker a bit more and get an ultra rich husband before its too late

I call the cops all the time. I'm that mean old lady who ruins everyone's fun. lol I just thought I'd call the owner of the business on Monday morning before calling the cops.

No gated community for me! I love my house and bought it 100% on my own almost 2 years ago. I'd choose a smaller house and knowing I got it all by myself than rely on someone else to get me one. :)

Chesty and I can come over

In all seriousness, you never know what some people will do if you cross them. Calling the owner first will only cause problems if you identify yourself and end up calling the cops later because he will know who called them. People like this that live in little trailers in the woods like things like vandalism or feeding your dog coolant, crap like that. I would keep your name out of it unless required to get any action.

I agree. Usually I would be all for getting in his face but these people seem prety creepy. keep you and your dog safe but get them outa there.

Well, when you purchase a house in "low income" areas of town.......
If you expect wealthy gated community rules and behavior you need to find one and purchase a home. It's like buying a cheap ass house in the middle of the ghetto and being surprised when homeless people, drug dealers and crack heads wander the neighborhood. There is a reason the 40k house is 40k and the 300k house is 300k, free markets work like that. If you call the cops on him then he'll probably know who did it and may choose street retribution. My advice is to purchase a home in the type of neighborhood you want to live in. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

That's not the case. It's just 6 empty wooded lots and it's a dead end street. So it's really kind of isolated back here considering I live in the city.

Some crappy truck actually showed up around 4 and removed it. The guy left a ton of plywood and other junk across the street. I'm doubtful that the owner of the company up the street gave the guy permission. I'm calling them tomorrow. I have the liscence plate #'s off the truck and the trailor.

Just move in with me...I just got a new 18V cordless DeWalt hammer drill + a new orbital sander. Problem solved.

Hey, can you get me any deals on drywall?

I would have notified the police to see what can be done to get rid of this persont by the end of day one. If the cops don't want to do anything about it try contacting you local government and zoning office.

Cheers,
Scotsman

I should have gone with my gut on this one. Deep down I know violence is the answer.

that brings a smile to my day :)

Get a big fucken spot-light and shine it directly on the trailer 24/7. That will bug the shit out of him enough for him to move.

And ooops, leave some antifreeze near the trailor for the dog too get...

lose the walker? Piss on the toilet seat? whatcha do this time ;)

Now I'm sad that the scary guy is gone. He was kind of excited to hatefully watch through the front window for a couple of days. If he comes back I'm going to aquire a pack of big angry dogs and make them attack him.

Tell Sassy69 to call her brother and have him move his meth lab / trailer somewhere else.

LOL

I just don't want some other meth lab competing with my own meth lab. Since they were in a trailor I bet their meth was even cheaper than mine.

My mom works 10-12 weeks in a pharmacy (to buy xmas presents for my dad). Every time I go in I ask for 100+ boxes of cold medicine from behind the counter to make meth. She never looks pleased with me for saying that.
