Although this has been probably the single easiest week of work ever, I’m happy that it’s finally Friday! Of course, this also means that I must face the impending doom that is packing for my trip…but I think it’ll be ok. I like to think I’m a good packer, but I always bring WAY too much stuff. I also need to do laundry. Fun stuff.

So, I know I already said this, but I had a really good time with you last night. Thank you again for dinner. Also, your friends/roommates were nice and quite funny – actually quite similar to a lot of my male friends. I hope I earned their stamp of approval!

You will be excited to know that Arnold Schwarzenegger (wow – my dictionary recognizes his name) is on campus at UCSD today. Yes, the Governator is here. At least that’s what they said on the NBC local news…which probably makes it a complete lie. I haven’t been able to confirm it, though, so I’ll keep you posted on any Ahhhnold sightings.

I’m realizing that it really sucks that I won’t see you again for another week and a half! I suppose things could be worse – I mean, I am going to Paris. Yes, life is hard.

Oh! I forgot to tell you – yesterday I was thinking ‘wait, there is something different about him’ and I totally forgot that you had gotten a haircut. I like it. I meant to tell you that.

I’m going to attempt to do some work now…write when you can.

Your email made me blush - probably because my impression of the evening
was similar (if not the same) as yours. I can't emphasize enough what a
good time I had with you - my timing has just been off since I keep
going on vacation! Thankfully, when I get back most of my weekend trips
will be wedding-activity-related, so it won't be too bad (and limited to
Southern California).

But seriously, I hope you realize what a kind, thoughtful person you
are. For some reasons, I've met a lot of men who have treated me rather
poorly. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your willingness to get
to know me, and treat me very well. It's hard to explain, probably
because it's something I'm not used to experiencing. Anyway, just
wanted to make sure you knew that.

It seems like you have a very close relationship with your friends and
you know each other well. I think you can always get more insight into
someone based on who they surround themselves with. It's clear that you
and your friends care a lot about each other, which is how I feel about
my friends.
