My IP band?

Youre fine, whats going on maing, youve been pretty sane that Ive seen. What the hell?
 
I was IP banned from Twincam.org, an austrailian board. Some aussie from another board got me to register and all we did was post pics of tube girl, goatse, and lemon party everywhere. It was fun as hell, and we did it in the middle of the night aussie time.

I'm able to post because I'm using a proxy at this time. When I try to access the EF server from my norm IP. It boots me...

Something is phuct up.
I don't want to wait for rerouted packets if I didn't do anything wrong to get band in the first place....
 
Did you take down your avi. Its also weird that they didnt ban your user name. Must be something going on besides that youd think. Anyone knows how to proxyserve to bypass IP banning so I doubt theyd do that out of nowhere, has to be something on your end

I dunno. The DNS is up.
I'm baffeled. I can't even view elite cache's with my reg IP.
 
weird, ef has been a lil off tonight for me as well. Not being able to load page for plat search , check PMs at times, just some strange stuff, prolly not at all related but Ive been bugged by some of these glitches not being able to load pages alot of times.
I would think that theyd send you email or PM to let you know if you did something. A disturbance the force there is

for what? use as a proxy? I have no clue how to do that and I don't know if he does.

But if YOU were IP banned, then wouldn't they have banned your user account too?

still can't load with my IP

Yeah, it is. To top it off, UA_Iron uses Firefox, not IE, to surf. He said he even loaded up IE and tried to get on the boards and couldn't.

Someone haxored your guys's computers through the intrawebs.
 
might be because of a routing problem between your home ip and EF.
when u go tru the proxy, usually the path to EF will then be different, bypassing whatever blockage or clot point thats holding you up.
can you ping EF IP addy's? do u get an EF screen denying you access, or just can't get to it at all?
 
We've got one server out of the rotation. Chill out and ixnay on the oxyprays.

Any idea how soon it'll be back up?

I'll let UA_Iron know (I chat with him on AIM) about the server being out of the loop.
 
Called the ISP like two hours ago, still no joy. Left VM for George. Grr. Load balancer should automatically take it out of the rotation, but obviously it didn't.

Handing out proxy lists is bad because spammers love to camp on them -- and when they do I have no qualms about banning them. So use your regular IP -- point it to "rogue.elitefitness.com" for now. You might have to log in again(because your cookie won't be valid) but it'll work.

I just sent that link to UA_Iron. Hopefully it works for him when he wakes up and tries to get on again.

If you were banned, not only yur IP would but also your account. It's most likely a rare case where someone has the same IP as a previously banned member (we do IP bans on some people). We try to avoid IP bans for this same exact reason.
