My Hospital visit

Ok I got hit by a car this morning, but I'm ok! When I was in the ER getting checked out the nurse was asking me if I was on any meds, then she gave me this look and said how about steroids. Is that rude or what?

In my opinion, its rude. Some girl doctor asked me the same thing too. Its like there only intention is to build a case against you. I don't believe that any of these doctors that I've seen in my life time (of the ones I remember) actually care about my health. They just can't wait for someone to say "yes," so then they could blame every health problem in the world for the rest of your life on juice. Besides, I don't even use anything.

And oh yea, I was at the dentist 2 weeks ago. This was my second time at his office and I knew something didn't feel right about him during my first visit, at least his attitude directed toward me. Well, the second visit I went to get fillings and he must have gave me much more local anesthetics than needed because it puffed up my whole face and I couldn't even breath. They started giving me oxygen...I'm so lucky I didn't collapse. Well, then they start asking me if I take any recreational drugs or stuff for bodybuilding and to make a long story short I think he was writing some stuff about an anxiety attack causing this to save his ass. I hate these bastards.

Never lie to a doctor or nurse about ANYTHING you are taking. They don't care jack diddly if you boot crank or drop d-bol. What they do care about is having the meds they give you interact with another drug in your system.

I once had to give a doctor a list of drugs a mile long for an unconscious friend. The doctor noted that he hadn't heard of many of them. That was because they were vet drugs from Mexican vet shops. The doctor was very cool. He wrote down all the drug names... double checked them against the chemical component... and then asked a lot of non judgemental questions about the use of anabolics... and why people had to resort to Mexican vet drugs to obtain them.

Just wondering, what drugs would "interact" with steroids? And what exactly would happen if they were combined? I don't use steroids, but out of curiosity am just wondering.

Not rude. A medical professional's job is to provide you with care. If you're in need of medications, then they must know what you're taking to be able to use alternates should there be any contra-indications with their preferred treatments.

Oh I’m sorry I thought the title of this forum was “CHAT & CONVERSATION” I was just trying to make ”CONVERSATION”, If you didn’t like the thread maybe you should have just moved on like the other 67 people that saw it, thought is was shit/boring and simply moved on!
