My horror story....abcess, infection,surgery (from injection)

Great Post. One has to be carefull on this. I have research this topic somewhat and have com with some points, please feel free to critique them:

1) ALway, I mean, ALways use fresh needle. You can alwaus get them from Vet suppliers. If no a posibiliyt, have alcohol container an drop them in there for an hour. SOme say this make them clean (have never tried)

2) Make sure you clean the injection site with alcohol first, and then that the brownish solution.

3), Inject slowly.

4) One done, masage the area the spread the "solution" Some belive this prevent Sterile absses.

5) Never inject in the same site more than one a week, preferable two weeks.

6) This is one I am quite curious.. some believe/said that they drained their on "lumps
with a large gauge fresh needle? Have anybody done this? I assume this will only work with sterile absseses.

this is definately some scary shit. makes me extremelly nervous because it can happen even when all the precautions are taken, that definately freaks me out. Thanks for posting bro, that has to be some painful shit. Im curious as to whether or not you will ever use an injectable AS again?

Man I really hate to hear stuff like that. I wonder if you would of had penicillin on hand and taken it right when you noticed the infection, if if would of went away?

Not all abcesses are from dirty gear or dirty needles. You can get whats called a sterile abcess by using too much gear in one spot or using inject sites too frequently. I wonder if thats what caused yours since you indicate that you were using 2g a week - how many cc's were you using at once and or frequency of sites?

One that comes to mind is a german one called Dimetabol.. is basically DECA.. to take that mean injections sites of 4 ccs.. allot.. so to get 400 mg od deca, you will have to inject in four sites.. plenty.. better make sure you are clean, your gear is clean and massage that site!
