My HDL level is 6mg%........WTF??

My HDL level is 6mg%, Docs say that this is imposible, they have never seen such a low value. They even double checked it.
My LDL is 199mg%, wich is quite high, but atainable.
Any help please??

HDL levels below 5 are actually quite common (from what i've read) for people on oral steroids, due to the increased activity of hepatic lipase. if i were you, if you were mid cycle, get on some liver protectors, and make sure your diet is very very clean, as in like no fat. that way, you'll limit your rapidly accelerating athleroschlerosis. when you are off cycle for more than 3 weeks, levels should return to normal. if you have been off cycle, i'd say your fucked in the ass...

KIB is correct. HDL will get that low because of increase HL activity from 17-aa orals.

Keep your antioxidant intake high. The HDL will come back up a few weeks after you get off the orals.
