Not everyone shares your views, in fact more people probably dont than do. Dating someone whose had a sex change doesnt exactly seem charming to a lot of people. Nor does it make someone "intolerant" or a "meanie" for not wanting to date someone with a sex change. There are many factors that figure into that besides simply "It seems gay". If you cant see that than you are the one who isnt tolerant.
