I've been taking xenadrine about 2 months. Kind of an on off deal....I didn't take it consistently but I always managed to take at least one a day. Sometimes I would take 2-3 a day. I usually lift at least 4 days a week and cardio about 20 minutes of the time I do lift.
Since I've been off xenadrine for the last 2 weeks I have made explosive gains...I am not as cut as I was before, but I have gained some pretty good size. I was about 150lbs before and now I am at 157lbs. I know, some of it is fat (1 of the 2 weeks was spring break
) but alot of it is muscle. All I can say is, that I don't want to take xenadrine ever again, I cannot tell you how addicting the shit is. I wouldn't go anywhere before I woke up with my 1 pill. Taking xenadrine always made me drowsy in the afternoons and gave me a rollercoaster appetite. The couple days after I stopped taking xenadrine, my metabolism and eating habits were all messed up. I would binge eat all the time with no control. I felt like I could never satisfy the hunger, I would eat endlessly. There was this one night where I got stoned, but let's not talk about that, I was so hungry I was about to gnaw on the drywall in my friends apt..lol.
I just wanted to share this with all you other bodybuilders out there......I feel that xendadrine and the other ephedra based supplements may be a bad idea. Maybe for a quick cut up, but be warned, it gets addicting.
Now for my questions, when I was at 150lbs (I'm 5' 9") I was doing dumbell inclines with 80lbs/arm (reps of 5-7), now that I am at 157lbs, I am still doing the same weight...is this because I am not gaining strength or because I don't have the boost of xenadrine in my work out as before? Also, what are your guys' thoughts on coffee in the morning? Bad idea? I know that when I was taking xenadrine I couldn't gain size at all....it just helped me stay cut around the waist. Would coffee have the same effect....(dehydration, etc.) ?
I don't post much, but I hope that the information I have posted has given some insite..
