How embarrasing. I have 2 dogs and one of them is a big fat pig. He is a pug, 1.5 years old and weighs 35lbs! Watch out when he's eating, he'll push anything aside and he is a good vaccuum too, eats anything and everything. Then he burps and farts alot. Gotta love him~!

and he only eats 1 1/2 cups a day! and he runs lots, he's just a ton of bricks / sack of potatoes. actually when he runs, his fat belly swings from side to side big time!

He just keeps growing.

seriously, you shouldn't feed a small dog one large meal a day. it should be given out in several small portions or they get fat like yours. Also, you say he runs alot, well, if you do in fact give smaller portions and exercise him alot, then take him to the vet !! he probably has thyroid problems. he will be a grumpy son of a bitch when he gets older and won't be able to walk, you'll need a small wheelbarrow.
