My "diet" for obtaining LBM?

For about 3 months I bulked and I've noticed that I have gained great strength but have also gained a noticeable amount of fat. Anywho Im going to try to shed a few pounds while trying to maintain as much muscle as I can. In doing so I pretty much just eat chicken breast and rice all day with some exceptions of a tuna or ham sandwhich's here and there. All I want to know is, by eating so much rice am I screwing myslef with that many carbs.? Im not cutting but I want to lean out a little, but not starve myself. I know results will be slow, but I just want to know if Im on the right track. Besides my eating I take Whey 4 times daily @30grams of protein per shake, 12 Uni-Liver tabs, 8grams flax throughout the day, and a mulit-vit. Please critique and give me some suggestions. Thanks alot. BTW, Please dont tell me to just put up with the fat gain since thats whats going to happen when you bulk regardless.....I know this.

Well, you left out too many factors: like your stats, amount of rice you're eating, you overall diet...etc...

Overall, I can give you a blanket statement: keep carbs to a minimum 100-150 a day, and protein to the maximum 2g/lb, add some EFA's to the mix and you'll be on your way to gradual fat-loss.

Stats: Age23, 5'6", 173lbs., not sure of bf%, but im not fat, just not lean either. My split includes lifting 3 times a week hitting each body part once a week hard and heavy with cardio 3-4 days opposite days of lifting at 15-30min sessions a pop. I consume about 3 cups of rice daily or roughly around 200g's of carbs. My diet pretty much is chicken and rice like I stated, w/ sirloin burgers, tuna, ham, assorted fruits and veggies and supps. So I guess I should take the rice down some to lower my carbs. Also whats the myth/fact about eating within a given time before bed? I usually hit the sack around midnight to 1:00am nightly, when would be the final hour that I could consume a meal? BTW I take a thermogenic, diuretic blend, and Yohimburn on my cardio days.
