As far as food, here is the idea.
Eat a lot of protein (duh) try not to eat carbs but if you do make it oatmeal or something along those lines. Don't worry about the fat cause you need the calories!
Protein

I drink 2 - 3 50 gram shakes
1 lb of meat (Chicken salmon or steak)
30 gram protein bar
sometimes I replace 1/2 lb of meat with 8 - 10 eggs
(I don't even count any other types of protein like cottage cheese, milk etc. but I eat them too during the day)
"Carbs"

I eat salads with the meat. (lettus / spinach / broc. cheese and dressing)
On some days when I look flat I would eat shredded wheat or oatmeal with rasins in the AM. (Never on days when I do cardio) I also took 900 mgs of ALA before any carbs.
Chile kicks ASS! 1 lb meat, 1 can beans, 1 can tomatos and chile powder / cheese. Lots of protein, low carbs low fat....tastes GREAT!
Chicken, broc., cheese, and 8 eggs are great too with a little salsa!

Peanut butter...and uh....yeah peanut butter.
Flax oil from time to time with a shake.

Apple with peanut butter (GOD I LOVE THAT SHIT!)
Cottage cheese with fruit
Whip cream in my shake (NO CARBS!) or on my girlfriends tits.
Popcorn at the movie (no butter and not that often)
Splenda for a sugar sub.
My diet is simple...and it is not hard to stay on at all...I could give you a bunch of ideas but it nothing that you have not heard before....hope this helps.
