My contest results

Got third in my weight class, kind of disappointed. Injured my left forearm/hand on the second event and had problems on the rest of the events.

12" Log clean and press 275 35lb pr failed at 295.

Stone Carry/farmers Stone carry was easy then hurt my hand and only got the farmers about 15 feet.

Atlas stones two stones, better than last time but just couldn't lift the third stone because I coudn't get enough grip on it.

Power stairs only got the first weight 300lbs up tried the 350lb weight and lost grip with my left hand again and almost dropped it on my feet so I decided to stop.

Hand over hand truck pull- got it 31'9" much better than I figured I'd do with my forearm all jacked up.

Basically got 2nd on the logs and third in the rest of the event. Got a sword for the award which is cool, and I am now having my first beer in over two months and it's GOOOOOOOOOD! I'll post pics probably on monday.

Cheers,

damn, 275 clean and press, solid

i betcha that's more than most here can bp

The 12" diameter log makes it so much harder than an oly bar, so I am quite happy with that since it is only the second time I have touched a log.

Dev- no worries man I am drinking just fine. :drink2:

Awesome job Scots!! A true sign of a strongman is fighting through the pain of an injury to finish the contest. Great achievements.

Definitely post those pics and also let us know what the next phase of your training will be.

Thanks KB.

My plans are to get more equipment and train harder and hopefully more consistently.

I am going to focus on grip and core strength.

Right now I just plan on relaxing and healing up for a little bit.
