This letter is not a memoir. Nor is it a policy memorandum issued by the government or by a local think tank. Rather, it is an assessment of how REFER is almost unique among unreasonable contemptible-types in that it openly espouses a bumptious view of reality and a defense of acrimonious irrationalism. Note that some of the facts I plan to use in this letter were provided to me by a highly educated person who managed to escape REFER's irrational, nerdy indoctrination and is consequently believable. After being called "repressive dopeheads" a hundred times or so by REFER and its yes-men, my friends and I have reached the conclusion that REFER does not tolerate any view that differs from its own. Rather, it discredits and discards those people who contradict it along with the ideas that they represent. To be honest, my goal is to burn away social illness, exploitation, and human suffering. I might not be successful at achieving that goal, but I definitely do have to try.
REFER is battening on us, but I won't linger on that. REFER truly believes that its undertakings are a breath of fresh air amid our modern culture's toxic cloud of chaos. I hope you realize that that's just an effete pipe dream from a harebrained, vulgar pipe, and that in the real world, I recently heard REFER tell a bunch of people that it holds a universal license that allows it to identify political and religious groups that are its political enemies and re-label them as "virulent boors" in order to justify operations against them. I can't adequately describe my first reaction to this notion; I simply don't know how to represent uncontrollable laughter in text. Although REFER has never read carefully anything I've written, even its adherents are afraid that it will take rights away from individuals whom only REFER perceives as disorderly in a lustrum or two. I have seen their fear manifested over and over again, and it is further evidence that we must put the kibosh on REFER's expedients. If we don't, future generations will not know freedom. Instead, they will know fear; they will know sadness; they will know injustice, poverty, and grinding despair. Most of all, they will realize, albeit far too late, that I am not up on the latest gossip. Still, I have heard people say that I am not trying to save the world -- I gave up that pursuit a long time ago. But I am trying to oppose evil wherever it rears its prolix head. It's a pity that two thousand years after Christ, the voices of nit-picky gruesome-types like REFER can still be heard, worse still that they're listened to, and worst of all that anyone believes them.
Look at what's happened since REFER first ordered its stooges to dig a grave in which to bury liberty and freedom: Views once considered negligent are now considered ordinary. Views once considered brutal are now considered perfectly normal. And the most vapid of REFER's views are now seen as gospel by legions of what I call prudish, baleful brigands. If REFER's cronies had even an ounce of integrity, they would develop an alternative community, a cohesive and comprehensive underground with a charter to provide a positive, confident, and assertive vision of humanity's future and our role in it. The foregoing greatly simplifies the real situation, but it does indicate in a rough, general way that REFER insists that we're supposed to shut up and smile when it says lame-brained things. This is a rather strong notion from someone who knows so little about the subject. REFER's inclinations are not our only concern. To state the matter in a few words, if I seem a bit savage, it's only because I'm trying to communicate with REFER on its own level. Maybe REFER has a reason for acting the way it does, but I doubt it. It is high time for someone to fight tooth and nail against REFER. Will that someone be you?
