My browser's cache has gone crazy!!

A few days ago I disabled cookies temporarily. I turned them back on. Now my browser pulls up almost every page out of it's cache instead of connecting directly to the website. How do I make it stop this. It's annoying when I use a site like this that is always changing. If I open up a thread that I've previously read it pulls up the old page. If I want to see responses that were posted since the last time I opened the thread I have to refresh the page. Help!!!

BTW I've emptied my cache and erased my history several times. This only provides a temporary solution.

Internet Options
General tab

In Temporary Internet files section click ..Settings

Check for newer version of page section
make sure "Every visit to the page" is selected

Thanks Y lifter. That was the problem. It was set to never check for a newer page. I didn't change that but the IT guy here at work messed with my PC the other day so I guess he did it.

Glad I could help...I'm in the IT support environment as well.. I feel your pain.

I never, repeat NEVER let any one touch my machine.
It's company property, but those dumb fucks that come from deskside support don't have to use it every day after they screw it up, I do..
If it gets broken, I want it to be me that done busticated it.
