aches! My lower back and butt are killing me. Any suggestions? Already did the drug thing pain relief is only temporary... Putting heat on it helps but only for a little while. I want to go to the gym today suggestions on what to do so I make it better and not worse?
 
Any thread that superqt4u2nv titles "my body" just absolutely screams for my undivided attention. Other than aspirin I have no suggestions, but the fantasy of what this thread could have been about will be with me for weeks to come.

Seriously anything that might help? Gym has hot tub I was thinking if I hit that before I worked out it might help the muscles will be all warm.
 
Is it a "good ache" as in the last workout was really good and you are just sore. Or, is it the "bad ache" as in something might be wrong.
 
I think you're supposed to do heat/ice/heat, or is it ice/heat/ice?
 
AR -Active Recovery

They`re done with bands but you can do excercises that will accentuate the concentric portion of the movement and NO negtives for about 20-25 reps VERY LIGHT weights no struggle at all. Some do them a couple of times a day.
 
I live with constant lower back pain..

They give me some Soft Tissue Damage yada yada and NSAIDS and Exercise ball crap to do...

Seriously though, active recovery isnt a bad idea.

:rolleyes: Yes sorted that out yesterday in a few thread or was it Monday.

MrMakaveli I got two back rubs yesterday night at work from the bouncer and the bar back it helped get me thru the night but the effect was not lasting.

Sorry....didn't do a background check......let me say I don't know what your old name was, but it had to be better than your current one.

BTW....cut your tits off....those are like a full time squatting routine. (Just in case you didn't see my earlier advice).
 
If you posted some naked pics, it would help with a more accurate diagnosis, but from your response to Boss101 (or a lack of more accurately) - I think you must already know that...

alternate the coldest water you can take with the hottest, causes blood to rush into and out of the affected body part, effectively flushing it.

If you take a car cigarette lighter heated til glowing then stick your tongue right on the red hot coils, you wont notice your lowerback pain for quite some time. Guaranteed

Icy hot and some band streatching.
 
Also go by some active recovery bands to use 2 hours after you workout. Active recovery streatching will greatly diminish stiffness.
 
Chiropractor can help you if you believe the pain is from your lower back. Some people don't believe in them or whatever. Myself included until I had work done on my lower back and neck. I go all the time to make sur eI don't fuck anything up now. I swear by my chiropractor.
