someone i work with is completely and totally androgynous. it's like 'pat' from SNL. i have no earthly idea what sex it is - seriously...if you had a gun to my head and told me to give you the right answer, i still would have no idea and would probably wind up dead.

even the other people i work with refer to it by it's name, which could either be a guy's name or a girls, instead of using pro-nouns like 'he' or 'she'

they wear khakis and a collar shirt, so you can't tell by the way they dress, i can neither confirm or deny an adam's apple, nor can i tell by the voice.

i know, either which way, at some point i am going to fuck up and say the wrong thing.

Give them a fake survery. Have one of the questions ask for their sex. Then when they give it back to u, you can tell if its girl or guy.

Tell the "thing" that you are giving this survery to all employees in the company. Just say its a survery about what they regret about their childhood or something
