My anavar cycle, and how it went.

well i got awsome gains for the first 4 weeks (8lbs and drop in bf) but then the gains stopped. its week 6 and im thinking of changing my diet. i was on a lean bulk diet for muscle gain, but now since im not getting any more poundage, lol im thinking of changing the diet to a leaning up diet for the last 2 weeks. what do you guys think??
i might run my var cycles like this from now on ( lean bulk diet for the first 4 weeks, then lean up diet for then next 4 weeks.) any comments on this??
once i stop the var, will i remain hard if diet and workouts are still in place??

I always kept most of my strength and stayed hard after my var cycles did 5 var only cycles. Be happy 8lbs is great for a var only cycle. How many mgs and what brand are you using? Are you using creatine or just var alone?

Don't like to admit it but never did pct for any of them. I was doing it for boxing 4 out of the 5 times only doing 20mg the last one I had BD var and did 40mg for about 9 weeks and gained 14lbs kept 12 and had my blood work done for everything and everything was good.
 
look in my steroid cycles forum, for my post. it was anavar/gh/ t3 cycle or some name like that. my diet is in detail there. i didnt use t3 by the way, and the gh didnt cotribute to any of the lbm gain. you guys still have not given me an opinion about switching the diet up 4 weeks into the var cycles. i am thinking about this because i feel most of my lbm gains came from the first 5 weeks.
 
I think switching your diet would be a good idea you already had good gains and your probably right your lbm gains are about done.
 
why do gains stop? Is it because your at your natural limit or you need more gear or a different type of gear, or is there some specific reason?
 
Here was the diet for people that care:

meal 1-
9 eggs (6 eggs whites 3 whole), 2 packets of quaker oats and some regular oats added. cinnimon and honey with raisins added.

meal 2(post workout)
meal replacement (44g pro 24g carbs), cup of apple juice and cup of dates.

meal 3-
meal replacement (16g protien 47g carbs), and half protien shake (25g protien)

meal 4-
7oz chicken breast, 1 1/2 cups-2 cups of brown rice. salt and bbq sauce. water.

meal 5-
6 oz chicken breast 1 cup rice (or broccli), salt bbq sauce, water.

meal 6-
2 cans tuna and noodles, salt, water.

meal 7-
6-7 raw eggs before bed.

meal 8 and 9-
100g of protien split into nightime. (i usually wake and down a shake that i have ready. this way my body is anabolic 100% of the time.

Shortstack do you have any idea on how man kcals and the macro nutrient ratio? I'm too lazy to calculate.
 
hey guys how long should i wait b4 attempting another var cycle? 4 weeks? 8 weeks? i was just on for 8 weeks. do you think i should try doing 4 weeks on 4 weeks off from now on?

Good question. Would it be better to change diet in var only cycle after about 5 weeks.(increase calories to increase muscle mass or decrease calories to cut)? Or, Do var for 4 -5 weeks and pct. Then, take about 6 weeks off and hit the var again?

I know adding test will be the most common answer. But, I'm on HRT and do not want to increase my test dosage. (I don't want to get spoiled by the higher dose) And, I don't think Shortstack wants to add test either.

yes i am still wondering all those questions. i am goping to either do 4weeks on 6 off or 4weeks bulking diet and 4 weeks leaning diet, then 8 weeks off. grrr decicions. primo and var coming up next witrh the gh :)

if you dropped 4-5% bf then you gained a hell of alot more than 8lbs of lbm. Be happy with what you gained and focus on trying to maintain it until your next cycle.
