Muscular peak at age 25.

That's gym talk.. You can hit your natural limit at age 17 (for instance) with AAS...
Or, you can never hit your natural limit if you (for instance) eat a vegan diet with 1000cals/day.

I don't know about your natural muscle peak. But the chemically enhanced peak damn sure is not till mid to late 30's. Top bodybuilders = 30's. Top Strongman Competitors = 30's, top powerlifters = 30's.

I heard somewhere that your natural muscular peak is at age 25, is this true? I don't really understand.

Maybe what you heard should be re-phrased: "on an average, men are most muscular at age 25.."

But, as I stated, this does not imply that at age 25, you are able to build more muscle than age 30.

No way bro.....max muscular peak and strength for that matter happens in your 30's. It can then be held throughout your 40's with proper training.

Yeah, I think you got it exactly. Thats what it meant. I heard it on tv a few years ago and it was always bugging me because it didn't make sense to me.

That is some stupid statistical average and I bet there are other factors involved than just physiological. Most guys I knew stopped working out a couple of years out of college b/c of other commitments.....grad school, work, wife, family, etc.
These are same guys that talk about the "old days" and live in the past. They will never see their abs again.

The stongest and most muscular guys at my gym are all over 30. And it is these same guys I see there almost everyday working out.....commitment = muscle

I don't know about "natural" peak... but I do know that at 43 I am more muscular and stronger than I have ever been in my life.

Thank you fina!

Actually, I've read somewhere that your peak in strength and mass isn't until the late 30's. Once you hit your fourties, you start losing muscle. However, I've also read, that physical peak is usually between 18-25. Thats when you have the most energy and speed and shit like that.
