Muscles when on a deficit

hey guys, sorry if this question has been answered.

I was just wondering what happens to muscles while your in a defecit when cutting.

I know when in a surplus, your muscles grow (and if too much your store fat)
but what happens when ur in a defecit? Do your muscles just remain the same size? get harder?

could i conclude that the only reason people train while cutting is to maintain muscle mass (also burn calories ofcourse)

Seriously? lol. You answered your own question and dont even know it...
If you eat more and your muscles grow....what do you think would happen if you cut back your calories for a cutting cycle??
 
I know the general is surplus=gains of muscle and deficit=slow loss of muscle but i took prop and winstrol and was 600 Cals under maintenance and was still able to get bigger and stronger. I lost fat, cut up, and increased lifting weight on a weekly basis. However, my diet was spot on and I didn't cheat...ever. All clean foods. Fresh and nothing from a can or with preservatives. Low salt and low sugar. High protein and clean carbs. Hopes this helps. I am kind of shocked u asked this question but I wanted to share my experience with you

bro, my last cycle I ate at damn near 1000 calorie deficit and I gained over 10lbs... so don't let anyone tell you that it is impossible because it most certainly is not... my body fat dropped as well... Its all about what your taking in for your diet... Its a tough concept and everyone's body is different but it most definitely is possible to gain muscle on a deficit... Its not easy at all but it most certainly can be done...

Id understand that muscle could be gained on a cycle but wat about natural (including no sarms stack just protein, creatine and BCAAs)

Doing it natural will most definitely yield some muscle loss. Now, How strict your diet and training are will dictate how much you actually lose. When cutting natural, I try to lose no more than 1.5 - 2 lbs a week which is still stretching it. Anymore than that an it's fat loss and muscle loss. I never cut without a good sarms stack anymore. Don't wanna lose my gains lol
