MUSCLEMAG is better than FLEX!!!

Lumberg

New member
I just picked up a copy the other day and read it cover to cover. It had way better articles than FLEX and more of them to boot.

I know it is owned by Muscletech but as long as you know that and skim over all references to their products there is lots of good stuff in there.

The Arnold quote quiz was cool, it made me want to watch all those movies.

the content of all bodybuilding mags are shit

the real world information can be found here , on boards complied with info by real bodybuilders with experiece, and with a drive based on helping people get results not helping themselves (the companies) get $$$ - with the exeption of a few mods ..

all they are good for is reporting the news and perhaps showing the condition of current competitors through pictorials, with some fitness chicks thrown in for eye candy, everysingle mag is run with affiliation to a big company - either weider, muscletech or twinlab - the magazines are selling points for there products,

for example weider was pushing vanadryl sulphate for years even when it was deemed useles and acccumulated to toxic levels in the major organs , he bought a big stock in it and therfor ther were big articles on its effectiveness

why the fuck would you pay $8-10 to read about a 290lb bodybuilder saying he gets big using nitrotech and cut using hydroxocrap, instead of mentioning the (hgh)(slin)(insert 6-10 steriods here) clen, t3 ect.. stacks...

i believe you could cover all the importaunt basics of the game in a couple issues but that dont sell so they basically write the same things every couple months in different words

anyway this post is getting too long

To be brutally honest, i've learned more about bodybuilding from Hustler than i have from either FLEX or Musclemag. The pictures are much better too.

They are both a waste of money.

I agree that a lot of the info is recycled. That's why it's not realy worth getting a subscription. But some of the articles are original and interesting. Like the one about the types you meet in the gym.

FLEX is just the same shit recycled.

FLEX is also less blatant about their products than Musclemag.

Anyways I don't have a problem with magazines if you have $7 to blow. But you learn way more on here.
