Muscle Milk

I did a search on "muscle milk" but came up with every thread on muscle and milk instead...

..what I am wondering is have any of you women tried this protein powder?

I'm not a women...but I have tried their protein. It is the best tasting protein I've ever had, but it is kind of high in fat....I still use it and love it

That's what I was wondering about...the high fat content they claim will help you drop the fat...but I assume you have to cut your carbs out to take in the extra fat.

ACtually, I'm cutting and use it....I do believe the fat content in it helps burn fat.....I am steadily dropping weight.

I use it and I absolutely LOVE it!! It's the best tasting protein/meal replacement I've ever had! I'm cutting as well and have noticed no ill effects as far as fat loss from using it. If I don't want the entire 18 grams of fat, then I only have 1 scoop instead of two then I will add another protein source to get in enough protein. Great stuff, big thumbs up!

BTW, sounds crazy, but the Root Beer Float is my favorite followed by the Chocolate. I know there's another flavor I haven't tried yet though.

Tehy have, Banana Cream and Orange cream as well....the banana is pretty good, and I heard the orange is good too.....I'll have to try rh root beer, but the chocolate is definately good

YIKES! 12 g of carbs AND 18 g of fat? I knew it was high in fats but I didn't bother to check the carbs...I've heard good things about it...a guy told me he had to stop taking it cause he was leaning out too much and couldn't put on size...I have a feeling if I drank it I would blow up...

harleyd - when/how did your husband use the shake? before and/or after workouts? what other supps was he taking?

it says on bodybuilding.com that it helps your body produce more creatine naturally :: not sure how that would work

He has a shake w/low fat milk post work out and before he goes to sleep at night. He also is on vanadyl sulfate, and a creatine supplement. He is mainly on a high protein diet.

I am not really sure how it helps your body to produce more creatine naturally.

CytoSport also has a protein product called Cyto Gainer. I have heard alot of good things about this one too.... The only thing is it has more complex carbs. It is has 54g of protein and 84 g carbs per 4 scoops. Thats alot of carbs

All the men that I have asked that used it have leaned out while on it...I just don't know about how it works with the women.
