while it's best to use a differnet needle I do it a lot out of convience......most, if not all, infections are from contaminated gear, not dirty skin.....I give IM injections every day in the dirtiest place on the body, the mouth, and my patients never get an infection....I also give them multiple injections with the same needle....again, it's best to use a new nedle but injecting with the same one shouldn't be a problem......

Gilly - that is true, but the mouth is the only place on/in the body that will not contaminate the needle when used more than once....my dentist explained that when I asked why he was using the same syringe for multiple novacaine injections

while we are talking about syringes here. Would you guys think it would be ok to use the same syringe and needle to draw liquidex with a few times? This way i dont have to waste a ton of pinz

Yeah - that would be fine - draw it up - drop it in the mouth
