I'm sure it was the steroids and not the fact he's a drunken ass...

oh great. I'll watch it, but get back, due to my roid rage, "actually rage at the ignorant media" i'll prolly snap watching it.

Scare tactics for the ignorant and weak-minded. What is the world coming to.....

Considering that there's more than a fair share of Musicians and Dancers jacked on Roids anyhow, you could say that they have a show on Roids everyday!!

Dude, it's steeroids...cause they inject them into cattle and if you want to take them you must injet them directly into your anus; I heard that's what bodybuilders do...inject them in their ass....it was on TV. :lmao:

Yeah, i'd like to see a vid of someone injecting 500ml of tren in their o-ring. From a vial that says "Anabolick Staroids"

I love uneducated douche bags who "play up" roid rage and other bs and think that it's cool. If no one had ever heard of roid rage it wouldn't exist.

MTV is the most biased piece of shit network there is always pushing their agenda.
If they decide they dont like people doing steroids they will put out the most biased crap with no one offering a counterview.
They are hardly fair and balanced like Foxnews

Ironically, the most pressing health issue is injecting fake gear; Which is a risk primarily do to the fact it's scheduled. I bet they won't address that one....

Steroids can make you important. Trust me, I know.

ive got this thing setup to record on thursday

i never would have thought gay people would use steroids... EVER. I thought it was kinda funny that the "biggest" guy had that dirty old man injecting him. I didn't like how the gay dude kept smoking while on, or how he was so open about telling everyone what he was doing, and then after winning the gay dance thingy telling some other dude "it's all about the cycles" and then saying "shhhh." That was lame! They really didn't saying anything bad about using steroids though... the big guy had a script for it, and was being "watched" by someone in the know (was he even a DR.?) The gay guy was just gay. and the fighter was just using to train harder. The only thing i saw wrong was the fighters fiance not knowing shit about shit. Even though you can get really depressed from steroids/pct, i don't think steroids did the baseball player in, i think it was the fact that he blew his chance. Didn't they say he got mad over a final and beat the shit out of his room mates furniture and got kicked out of college for it!?!? How is it those guys didn't get charged with anything especially with having video evidence?

What does mtv know? I won't say that using aas has never caused a death, but then like any type of medication/supplement there are those that should be taking them and those that shouldn't.

Just like a an engine in a car, it can naturally produce a certain amount of hp, slap a turbo/supercharger/nitrous on it and it will produce more. Now, if the engine is in good shape and the stress put on it from the add ons does not exceed the mechanical capabilities of the engine, all is good. However, put a 100hp nitrous kit on a 1970 chevy 350 with 200,000 miles on it or on a 2001 Infinity engine and in about 2 seconds you will have a pile of metal.

Same goes for humans, you better be physically, mentally fit and know your limits or you will detonate by overdoing it or doing aas when you shouldn't!

Yea the kid killed himself a month after he was done being on a cycle and they still blamed it on that! wtf.

AAS will raise your blood pressure and that can lead to a stroke

so then it's feasible that aas could kill you then, peeps die from strokes all the time...razor asked how one could die from aas

It is feasible. Like I said earlier, you need to be physically fit to use AAS and also be smart enough not to abuse them. Aspirin will kill you quicker than anything out there, yet we can buy aspirin no problem. Sex has killed more people than AAS will in the next 10,000 years!

Gay guys are usually the hottest body'd, most beautiful godlike things on the planet. Regardless of this guy being gay, he was probably more just the fat kid (or skinny kid) in school that everyone treated like shit or ignored and he was looking to the steroids to make himself "better". He did realize that it still didn't make him any better or more interesting as a person. Frankly he just barely stood out as someone who should probably keep his shirt on anyway. This guy had no interest in learning about a fitness lifestyle or even being really devoted to havign an Adonis body. He's just someone w/ an extremely weak sense of self & no self-confidence at all. He was looking for a quicky fix for the outside instead of takign a good look at himself and focusing on the important things.

The first guy had the mentality, but obviously forgot to include leg day in his routine. He's also sadly ignorant of the realities of the modeling world, particularly expecting to get on a cover of a mag like M&F.

Listen, for the last time, I'm NOT gay.....don't judge me on my appearance!

the mother made a couple of comments that her son was going thru strong "withdrawals"and he needed treatment. did you see the pic of the kid playing in his prime? what could he have possibly been taking and for how long to cause strong withdrawal symptons?

Certainly not from steroids, they are not physically addictive so no physical withdrawal. Remember, this is a layperson who obviously didn't do any real research, therefore steroids are the same as heroin in her mind. Allowing this kind of ignorance to be disseminated is reckless. Have an endocrinologist discuss the subject of what her son may have been going through.

Right, her basic claim is that her son was depressed after getting off gear (what she calls withdrawls) and killed himself because of it.

Her and two other sets of parents who blame steroids for their kids' suicide were before congress last year and were instrumental in stirring things up... I remember watching with great annoyance at the whiny congressman bloviating on abuot how we must 'protect our nation's most precious resource, our children' blah blah

It's easy to scape goat drugs. I would bet a year's salary that had he been signed to a minor league contract he wouldn't have committed suicide had he stopped the steroids. Likewise, had he continued to use steroids and had his hopes and dreams shattered he probably still would have committed suicide. One has to wonder what role the parents played in enabling their son's unreasonable baseball obsession?

If he came off without any PCT this would be by far the hardest part. You feel good when you're on your cycle, it's when you come off that you drag and can be a little emotional because of hormones being out of balance. Granted that the kid had serious issues, and drugs weren't by any means the cause of his death, but coming off incorrectly can definitely put you into a depression.

People who are severly depressed generally don't committ suicide. People in the middle ground between feeling better and severe depression are the most at risk. They aren't recovered but they're actually motivated enough to kill themselves. Look at the risk factors for anti-depressants, increased risk of suicide is one of them, they are in danger as the drug's effects take place but haven't taken them out of depression. Ironically, had he stayed on steroids its possible he would have felt good enough not to committ suicide. The primary cause was his obsession with baseball, which caused the depression, coming off probably hurt but he was off long enough for the initial "low" to be a non-issue. Back in the day I did plenty of test before PCT was espoused, sure I had a down but it was relative. I felt like a God on test and feeling sub par the first few weeks was more about the relative ways I felt, I wasn't very much lower than when I started the cycle, it just felt worse because of how dramatic the change was.

someone needs to make a full length documentary about someone that is using steroids and PCT correctly.

Hell, I'll be the guinea pig!
