both, and as Victory stated, a small dose of deca. 200-300mg a week for this purpose should do the trick

Ok thanks, but what is the difference between Glucosamine HCL and Glucosamine Sulfate??? Any of these that are better than the other?

most of the products ive come across always have glucosamine sulfate. now which of the two is better im not too sure. my guess is they are probably the same but someone may tell me otherwise. also good to add to the mix bro would be chondroitin, as well as extra vitamin c. just remembered these 2.

I personally have heard more bad than good as far as glucosamine is concerned. But I have taken MSM for over 3 years every day and it has helped me immensely (I had a torn rotator cuff). I use the powder not the tabs and at about 16 grams a day, recommended dosage is only like 2 grams a day.

Glucosamine HCL vs Glucosamine Sulfate

"The rumor is that glucosamine sulfate is the only form that beneficially affects the cartilage. This is incorrect. Glucosamine hydrochloride may actually be more effective gram for gram since there's more pure glucosamine per unit weight in the hydrochloride form. Besides, most of the glucosamine sold as sulfate is probably glucosamine hydrochloride anyway (with an added sulfate, such as the salt, potassium sulfate). Studies with both the sulfate and hydrochloride forms have been positive."

The bottom line here is, the HCL version is more pure, more stable, more cost effective, and just as effective as the Sulfate version.

I would like to hear more om MSM. Time to go eat....
