MRI Update (no more ACL)

distanced

New member
The ACL couldn't even be seen on the MRI photo. there was a huge contussion(sp) and tears on most of the other tendons.

now I've got to wait a week for the wounds to heal before they will do the surgery.

anyone else have this happen, and how long did recovery take and all that good stuff.

In a year you will be at around at least 8O% and in two it will be like nothing happened as long as you have a good surgeon and the surgery goes well! Just don't be one of the Dumb Fucks that starts to do running Cuts back and forth after surgery to see if you knee can take it! You know like a HULKSTER running from the Feds after the UPS guy tips them off!

LOL, yeah. oO(run hulk run)

I just want back on my bike and take revenge on that cliff. I guess I won't be training much for legs for a while. I guess I'm lucky I was on a little cycle which should help me keep some of the muscle. doc thinks I might be able to ride light in 8 weeks.

this thing hurts, man. I couldn't believe when he showed me the MRI photos that the ACL was no where to be found....crazy!

You can keep training your leg! You will have one stick leg and one buff leg, but what the hell just walk around with your stacked leg showing towards the Hot Chicks!

Speaking of Andro taking Trannies in Pink Tutus! Look what the cat dragged in!

I blew my ACl in Oct, of 2001. I had the surgury, got infected on the table, had a pick line in for 6 weeks. Lost 20 lbs, took 8 months to rehab. If all goes well, you could be doing upper body twp weeks post surgury, lifting on legs 3 months post surgury.

Personally, I'm strong now than ever, squat more than ever, and still can play sports. FOLLOW YOUR REHAB!!!!! Don't get lazy, bust your ass and you'll be done quicker.

Feel free to PM me. Peace.
