Anyone know what programs are needed to rip MPEG Audio into mp3 or wav?
MPEG----->WAV or Mp3?

MP3 format is mpeg, its stands for MPegLavel3 i think, as far as going from mp3 to .wav format just go to download.com and download a conversion program.

I don't know what OS you have but I think media player 7 will automatically convert mp3's into wav

When you say "mpeg audio"....what do you mean? Are you wanting to rip the audio from an mpeg movie file? If so download a free program called virtualdub. Open the mpeg in it, and under file, choose "save wav". If you're just trying to covert one sound format to another, one of the best programs out there is dbpowerAMP.

Virtual Dub is a nice little free program. I love it for compressing mpegs's into avi's to save space. Also if you want to shorten the video clip EO Video is on one my favorite programs for that. It's not free though and I forget how much the shareware version allows you to do but I have the serial number it you needed it.
