MP3 Players

I have the rio portable, I wear it in the gym all the time. Be sure to get enough memory. It works fine, pretty durable, be sure to get a carry case because I drop mine all the time.

Ps. get somthing that you can upgrade memory cards becuase they are getting bigger and cheaper all the time

i have the toshiba mea110. which is worthless to me since i have windows 2000 and the dumbass software that loads the mp3 player isnt compatible with win2000. soo.....i emailed toshiba and they said basically "tough luck buddy, we arent upgrading or making a patch for that error."

so im assed out with this mp3 player that is my paperweight on my desk right now. i'll bet its pretty nice but....maybe not for me. :(

I have Samsungs Yepp 64mb

Its good but u cant recharge the batteries so you have to buy new oned after maybe 5 hours of listening.

have you seen the yepp 32, the one without external memory? its the size of an average keychain. talk about sneaky in class....

i actually decided against an mp3 player and went with the new sony walkman... i just burn my cds now rather than constantly changing and uploading files as with a player... i am cool with it for now but will probably break down and by one as they get more popular and innovative...

I have a Rio500 and love it.

Regardless of which mp3 player you get, you ***MUST*** get these headphones.

I bought the Rio Volt MP3/CD hybrid. It kicks ass in the fact that you can burn a MP3 CD with 11 hours of music on it. With two regular AA batteries I can listen for about 15 hours. The only problem I've found is that you have to have a burner to make MP3 CDs which most people have, its the size of a CD player so its not as small as one of the chip kind, and when I'm running on the treadmill and I get up to a faster speed the impact skips it, even when I have the 120 second skip protection on. After that 120 seconds of buffer is up, it sounds like shit. I started putting a towel under it and it works fine.
