any one have one? what do u have? how many minutes of songs does it hold? hear good or bad things about them? i know bmw makes a sweet one that goes in the trunk of ur car( where the 6 disk changer is)

any thoughts? comments?

I have one in my boat. I just burn about 300+ songs on a CD and it reads it from the CD. Mine doesn't have an internal hard drive. It's a Kenwood and has the Sat radio also. I like it.

It can hold whatever an mp3 cd can hold.. which is 750 mb.. sometimes more if you overburn. That's about 300 songs.

I highly doubt BMW actually makes the player. It's probably some other company that BMW uses... try to find it out.

I got an Alpine. Forget the model, but i LOVE it!!!

and best of all. YOu can use the knob and circle through the list of songs. That's very handy.

now is it a CD player? or is in your trunk?

Trunk CD players are a Pain IMO because you always want some
CD loaded that you forgot to load, and it's usually when you are on the road..

Nissan has a clarion 6 disk IN DASH changer but it does not play MP3's..

I can still burn either a copy of a CD in native format or a mix of like 12-14 songs per CD..

My CD changer can read MP3s. I had 8 discs full of them in there. Which was about 1500 songs. Shuffling took fucking forever though.

I have an in dash cd/mp3 player.
Its fanfuckingtastic.

i've got a pioneer that works great. burn mp3's on a cd and play it in the truck... lets you arrange the songs in folders as well so you can split them up by genre/artist/albums if you like.

i hardly ever listen to radio or regular CDs anymore
