Moving to Madison WI

For work. I'm outta here in about 5 weeks.

Spent the last 2 days there meeting my new employees and finding a place to live.

Thing is I know not one person in the state. Where's some good places to meet friends and shit?

Figure I might get a job bouncing at a bar/club 2 nights a week for the winter and that would be a good way to meet people?

Anyone lived/live there?

Tips? advice?

I've never been but Madison often makes it's way to the top of "Best Places to Live" articles. Supposed to be a college town ... so I'm sure there's a lot of hawties.

Place is full of hotties. We went walking down State St. and I got friggin taco neck from looking back and forth the whole time. I'm really looking forward to it just don't know anyone.

And BTW it's always rated in the top 10 party towns in the US.

one of the monthly collumn writers for my favorite car magazine moved from Los Angeles back to madison...his description of the area makes me want to move there.

any college town should prove to be....interesting....

It's a 2 year deal, so who knows? If I like it I will. Only a 4 hour drive back to family and friends.

Never been to Madison, but was in Fond Du Lac - lots of cheese & they LOVE LOVE LOVE the Packers from what I remember....beautiful area.....

I'll reply to this in more detail later... I used to live there. Awesome place to live, and there is no shortage of hot college sluts...

NOBODY can drink like people from Wisconsin... trust me. I grew up there, have lived several other places, and have yet to see anywhere else even come close!!
