Hollywood enjoyed their best year ever in 2001. Lots of good movies last year. My fav was the one with Elizabeth Shannon masturbating. ;)

I cannot wait for:

Blackhawk Down

Men in Black II

Sequel to Lord of the Rings

Any major war movie

Any movie with Shannon Elizabeth wearing almost nothing. :p

I heard Jet Li is gonna be the villian in Matrix II.....should be awesome......Blackhawk Down looks pretty decent too

Jet Li..he is the guy from "The One" I think.
He would make a great villian for Matrix II.

I have read very good things about Blackhawk Down. I would spend $20 or more to see it. Hopefully I am not expecting too much.

Jet Li was in The One and turned down his Matrix II role in order to film The One - so they got someone else... last I heard.

just curiuos cus I was thinking of renting it.

also I think the sequels of the matrix will hold up, because I watched an interview with the creators, and it sounded like that they had already written the sequels, when the first one was released.

it sounded like a plan, and that they new that the story could be spead out for more than one movie.

Hope it's good as well cus the first is a classic

The Mummy was superb. Personally, I enjoyed it more than The Matrix which was also excellent. You got to rent it.

Yea...the sequel with The Rock was not 1/2 as good. No story...just a bunch of silly special effects.

Someone is coming out with another version of the Time Machine? That's one of my fav movies and books of all time.
 
Saw the trailers for these so far:

Blade 2 - I can't wait.

MIB 2 - Looks good.

Black Hawk Down - War movies rule.

Lord of the Rings 2 - This I want to see most.

Spiderman - Fucking awsome.

Austin Powers 3 - HORRIBLE! They ruined it!

Ice Age - This will be a hilarious cartoon.

Imposter - Looks pretty neat.

Star Wars Episode 2 - Must see.

The Mummy 3 - Loved the first two.

Scooby Doo - I'm a child, I gotta see it.

Peter Pan 2 - The child thing again.

Those are the ones off the top of my head.

For those Jason fans out there... Jason X is coming out.

the matrix was good but i could'nt watch it a second time. it bored me after the first. i do want to see LOTR 1, have not seen it yet, and will see 2 when it comes out. star wars 2, blackhawk down, matrix 2, any war movie, arnold's new movie. i wish they'd make a predator 3 with him in it, saw part one the other night and it was cool still today. no more aliens movies please. maybe a terminator 3. time is my biggest enemy when wanting to see a movie.

I am definetely looking foward to seeing T3. Loved the first two. It was one of the few sequals (T2) that was better than the original Aliens being the other. SpiderMan looks cool to me too. He was always my favorite super hero.

This is the first time I have heard about True Lies 2. I hope Tom Arnold is in it with the big Arnold again. He was funny as shit in the first True Lies.

Blackhawk Down looks bad ass too. It seems a littel copyish from Behind Enemy Lines(which I liked alot too except for the funky filming techniques that were almost nausiating like Blair Witch Project.

I noticed the posters at the movie theatre last week, and they read december 2001. I wonder why it got pushed off?
 
I hear the prequel to "Follow That Bird" is going to be amazing - one reviewer said "the best special effects I've seen since St. Elmo's Fire"

Aaliyah was suppose to be the main character in Matrix 2. Well the lead woman character.
 
I saw the trailer for Spiderman the other day and it looks great. Seems to be true to the Marvel Comic character, down to the red-headed Mary Jane and lovable Aunt May.

I think William Dafoe is miscast as Norman Osborne (The Green Goblin) though, I would have picked James Caan.
 
Black Hawk Down looks good, but Josh Hartnett doesn't seem to fit the part of a war movie actor.

I can't wait for Band of Brothers to come out on DVD.

Are there any WW2 movies coming out anytime soon?

Time had a review of Black Hawk Down, and said that it would probably one of the best war movies since Full Metal Jacket.

Full Metal Jacket is one of my favorites. I'm definatly going to see Black Hawk Down.
 
Spiderman, i can't wait for that one. Finally a flick that looks just like the comics. Glad they did not screw it up like they did to the X-men. Look Awsome.

I seen a poster at the theatre for a Bruce Willis war movie. The background made it appear WWII'ish to me. Have not heard a thing though.

Die Hard was awesome. It made Bruce Willis I think.

The Matrix was a probably a slightly better movie. I got there a little late and that hurt the movie. First thing I saw was the girl leaping buildings and thought this movie is fake as hell. Then the story made it make sense.
 
Willis is an awesome actor. Die Hard definatly made his career.

Fav lines:

"Sir this line is for emergencies only."
"No fuckin shit lady does it sound like I'm ordering a pizza."

"Yippee-kie-yay mother fucker."
 
Willis is a great one but noyone touches Harrison Ford in my book. There are many equally talented actors...I just like Harrison Ford.
