things are just a huge pain in the ass right now,I have a credit card that went into collections while I was away in montreal,and the money I sent back for it to be paid never made it onto the credit card,and I ended up putting on the card when I came back, and getting the notifacation letter 3 days after I made the payment.

now the company wants the total amount paid or they are sending it to court where apparently it will effect my fucking credit for 20 years or some retarded shit.

so Ive got until 2pm today to get a new fucking loan to pay this shit off or they are sending out a garnish notice which I guess will take money off my cheque at work,making me look like a total asshole at work,which im not fucking happy about.

nothing can affect your credit for 20 years bro,whomever your talking to is full of shit and trying to put a scare into ya,the max is 7 years,and thats if they R-9 you

yeah the credit thing in Canada is diff than the states,we have an R system.an R-1 being low and an R-9 being bad,non payment,or bancruptcy.And as for full payment they can't leagally demand full payment

Even if its with collections, send what you can. Tell them thats all they get and you want to be set up on a payment plan to pay monthly (if thats all you can do now) Get the addy and just tell her a check is on the way, XX amt is what you can pay now and thats what you are sending.

She's making you think she has more power than she does to scare you into sending a lump amt. Tell her to do what she has to do but you know that as long as you are making an effort to pay off the debt in a timely manner they have to accept payment.

my total debt on the card is 1781.53 with a credit limit of 1600 on the canadian tire options card. but I let it get up around 1900 when I wasnt making enough to pay it,and then when I could afford to the money I sent home in november didnt make it to the card due to parents not putting it there and I came home,made payments then found out its in collections and now they want all the money,she tells me that making payments wasnt a option,then near the end of the call tells me to try and get a loan if I cant make a payment then call her back to work something out.

the debt and bad credit doesnt bother me as much as the whole speel about her fucking with my job,ill hunt the cunt down and kill her if she makes me lose my job

Before you send payment to the card, call and see if they even still are handling your acct. If they sold it to Collections then it does you no good to send it there.

Get the addy from the Bitch and tell her to be watching for a check. Be as firm but polite as you possibly can (I'd be cursing her ass out by now... lol) Inform her that Erzulie said she a moron

She's paid to collect the debt as soon as possible, its her job so she's gonna make as many false claims as it takes to get you to pay up. Don't give her anymore info than you have to.

Keep it short and sweet, "Im sending a check for XX, either apply it to my acct or not, thats your choice but thats all i am able to do right now" Then wish her a good day and hang up.

Call them up and offer to pay off the card at half the amount you owe with cash. They will usually take a low offer with some haggaling.
