My opinion on this topic varies. First off I think drug tests are often only issued to players the team owner/manager is having trouble with. So often these guys may have seemed to have been busted at random but were singled out for something behind the scenes. In the meantime everyone else on the team is still using. This appliues mainly to pro sports where there's tons of $$$$ involved. On the Olympic level and other less popular sports I'd guess the testing system is more straight across the board-unless your're a media victim like Armstrong or Landis. Obviously, Nandrolones seem to be the primary culprit because of their long 1/2 life in the body(up to 1 yr I think?) but I don't think it's always the athlete's ignorance. For example, if he buys black market gear that's labled Propionate, but actually contains Nandrolone, he may actually think he's safe to get tested after a few months of being off it cuz it was prop-but finds out otherwise when it was too late.
Winny V is supposed to clear the system in 72 hrs, so I think guys might take this time frame too seriously not taking into account that everybody is different. Maybe it takes some guys 48 hours to test clean, other guys may need 96 hrs? Anyway, if you don't know the precise amount of time it takes yourself to come off a drug and test clean, you really need to get off a bit sooner than the gurus tell you to just to be safe.
